Incontra il ragazzo con le guance rotonde e le piccole mandibole morbide. Non siamo proprio sicuri di cosa sia successo a Malibu, quando era più giovane, sembrava delicato, con un musetto appuntito. Ma improvvisamente le sue guance hanno cominciato a crescere, ha ottenuto quelle adorabili piccole mandibole e ora è ancora più affettuoso che mai. Malibu è arrivato da noi con i suoi cinque fratellini. Nei primi giorni, tutti i cuccioli erano molto spaventati, non si avvicinavano a noi, abbaiavano e mantenevano la distanza. Solo lui. Era l'unico che ci si avvicinava fin dall'inizio, esitante e dolcemente, ma lo faceva. Con il suo viso incredibilmente dolce e il suo carattere calmo, si avvicinò, ci annusò e ci permise di accarezzargli dolcemente la testa. Man mano che cresceva nel rifugio, ha vissuto fasi, a volte più timido, a volte più aperto, fino a trovare il suo equilibrio. Il tempo è passato e lui è ancora qui. Ora è un cane felice e giocoso. Una vera anima dolce che gioca con i suoi giocattoli, con le persone che conosce nel rifugio, persino con i gatti. Vuole solo godersi la vita e fare tutte le cose per cui i cani sono fatti. Fa passeggiate con i nostri volontari e in quei momenti mostra quanto è affettuoso. Adora essere accarezzato, adora stare con le persone e gode osservando e esplorando il mondo intorno a lui. Malibu, il cucciolo che è venuto e cresciuto con noi, che è diventato un cane all'interno del rifugio, che abbiamo visto crescere, aprirsi, imparare e prosperare, ha bisogno ora di una sola cosa: una casa.

Meet the chubby-cheeked boy with the soft little jowls. We’re not quite sure what happened with Malibu, when he was younger, he looked delicate, with a pointy little snout. But suddenly his cheeks grew, he got those adorable little jowls, and now he’s even more lovable than before. Malibu came to us with his five siblings. In the first days, all the puppies were very scared, they wouldn’t come near us, they barked, and kept their distance. All except him. He was the only one who approached us from the very beginning, hesitantly and gently, but he did. With his incredibly sweet face and calm nature, he came close, sniffed us, and allowed us to softly pet his head. As he grew up in the shelter, he went through phases, sometimes more shy, sometimes more open, until he eventually found his balance. Time passed, and he’s still with us. Now he’s a happy, playful dog. A truly sweet soul who plays with his toys, with the people he knows at the shelter, even with the cats. He just wants to enjoy life and do all the things dogs are meant to do. He goes on walks with our volunteers, and that’s when he shows just how affectionate he is. He loves being petted, he loves being around people, and he enjoys observing and exploring the world around him. Malibu, the puppy who came and grew up with us, who became a dog within the shelter, whom we watched grow, open up, learn, and thrive, now needs just one thing: a home.
