È in un ambiente di accoglienza con più cani nel Essex, in attesa della perfetta casa per la sua pensione. A Maureen piace la compagnia degli altri cani. Sarebbe felice di avere almeno un altro cane, preferibilmente maschio, a casa. Le piace giocare con gli altri cani ma a volte può essere un po' autoritaria con le altre femmine. Ha la sua opinione, Maureen! A Maureen piace ricevere attenzioni dalle persone che conosce ma solo quando lei è d'umore. È timida con gli estranei. Può essere molto nervosa a volte e quando le cose diventano troppo per lei, si ritira nel suo letto o nella gabbia dove sa che sarà lasciata in pace per calmarsi. Maureen è pulita e ben educata in casa. Può essere lasciata per alcune ore con i suoi amici cani. Ha bisogno di una casa tranquilla senza bambini o gatti e con un giardino dove annusare. Maureen cammina bene al guinzaglio e, essendo buona con gli altri cani, è un piacere portarla fuori per passeggiate tranquille. Non ama molto il traffico e talvolta diventa ansiosa e decide di passeggiare tranquillamente nel giardino invece di affrontare il mondo esterno quel giorno. Quando è rilassata, è un cane giocoso e affettuoso. Ha bisogno di padroni che le permettano di abituarsi al suo ritmo e poi il suo cucciolo interiore uscirà a giocare! Please help Maureen by sharing this page! Maureen is an 11-year-old Collie Cross in the care of Animal Adoption International . She's in a multi-dog foster home in Essex, waiting for the perfect retirement home. Maureen loves the company of most other dogs. She'd like at least one, preferably male doggy sibling at home. She likes playing with other dogs but has been known to get a bit bossy with other female dogs sometimes. She knows her own mind, does Maureen! Maureen likes a fuss from people she trusts but it has to be on her terms, when she’s in the mood. She is and will always be shy of strangers. She can be very nervous at times and when things get too much for her, she takes herself to her bed or crate where she knows she’ll be left in peace to compose herself. Maureen is clean and well-behaved in the home. She can be left for a few hours with her dog friends for company. She does need a peaceful home without children or cats and with a garden to snuffle in. Maureen walks nicely on the lead and, as she's good with other dogs, she's a pleasure to take out for quiet walks. She's not a fan of busy traffic though and occasionally she comes over all anxious and decides she'd rather just potter about the garden than face the big wide world that day. When relaxed, she's a playful and affectionate dog. She does need owners who allow her to get used to things in her own time and then her inner puppy will come out to play!
