Milo has come into LL's care when his original owner could no longer look after him. He's currently in a foster home in South Yorks. Milo is neutered and has been vaccinated, but didn't get his booster in time, so he is going to have to re-start the vax next week. He's approx 24 ins tts and we don't have a weight for him yet, but will have next week when he has his vax. . Milo will sit, "give a paw" and comes back when playing fetch. He seems to be dog friendly, not sure about cats, but he does chase squirrels and seems fine with children, but as he's full of energy, he might be best with older children. He seems to be house trained but has a bit of an upset tum, so is on a plain diet for the mo and needs to put on a bit of weight. He's walked on a lead when out, but has free running in the garden. He's currently living with an older, smaller dog and is a bit too much for her, as he's a typical zoomy young lurcher. He can get a bit anxious in very busy public areas, so needs some positive reinforcement training. He may benefit from a steady, older companion dog. He travels well in a car, and is used to sleeping in a crate, and take himself off to bed in it when he's tired. He's only been left for a couple of hours at a time in his foster home and seems to cope with that. Milo is frightened of some household items such as the hoover, plastic bags and when he hears certain people shouting, so he will need reassurance and patience to show him that they're not scary.
