Gentile, dolce e piena di affetto, è più felice quando è accanto a te a godersi tante coccole e attenzioni. Ora cerca una casa amorevole dove possa mettere le zampe a riposo e godersi i suoi meritati anni di pensione. Da quando è entrata in nostra cura, Missy ha fatto progressi costanti con la socializzazione con altri cani. Per ora avrà bisogno di essere l'unico cane in casa, mentre i nuovi proprietari continueranno a costruire la sua fiducia con altri cani, nel suo tempo e in spazi neutrali. Missy cerca una casa lontana dal caos della città, con accesso al suo giardino privato dove può rilassarsi e trascorrere il tempo. Ha vissuto con i bambini e potrebbe potenzialmente vivere con bambini più grandi e sensibili che rispetteranno il suo spazio e non saranno troppo opprimenti per lei nei suoi anni d'oro. Purtroppo, non può vivere con i gatti. Missy ha mostrato segni di ansia da separazione mentre era in canile e non è timida nell'usare la sua voce per far sapere a tutti che preferisce la compagnia! Meet Missy, our gorgeous black Greyhound with a heart of gold! This gentle girl has been an absolute joy to have at the centre, winning over everyone she meets with her sweet and affectionate nature. Missy is looking for a loving home where she can leave her racing days behind and enjoy the quieter things in life! Missy is a calm and loving girl who enjoys spending time with people. Although she can be a little worried at times, she has shown us just how quickly her confidence can blossom with a little patience and reassurance. As an ex-racing Greyhound, Missy has shown some chase behaviours towards wildlife and smaller dogs, although she has also demonstrated that she can calmly pass smaller dogs when out on walks and would be suited to living with dog of a similar size to her. Missy absolutely loves having the opportunity to stretch her legs in our secure paddocks, but is equally happy enjoying some quiet time and relaxing in her kennel. She really is a lovely girl with so much affection to offer! Missy is looking for a patient and understanding family who can help her settle into her new life as a much loved companion. She would be happiest living in a quieter location with access to peaceful green spaces, as busy environments and loud noises can sometimes leave her feeling a little overwhelmed. As Missy may not have experienced living in a home before, she will need owners who are happy to introduce her gradually to home life, including helping her learn about housetraining and building up time spent alone. Having someone around for most of the day initially would help her find her feet, alongside a secure, private garden where she can enjoy stretching her legs and exploring at her own pace. With a little patience, plenty of love and a cosy place to call her own, Missy has all the makings of a truly wonderful companion.
