Patsy came to us via another rescue in the summer of 2023, along with her two tiny newborn kittens who had been born in a garden. Sadly, one of her kittens didn’t make it, but the other went on to find a lovely home. Patsy is still waiting for hers. Patsy is a very nervous girl, particularly around loud noises and anything unfamiliar, but once she gets to know you and feels safe, she’s a wonderfully friendly and affectionate cat. She absolutely loves being brushed and, when she’s enjoying her cuddles, she’s quite likely to pull you back towards her if you stop before she’s ready! She’s not keen on being picked up or feeling trapped, so she’ll need someone who is happy to let her have her own space and build her confidence at her own pace. Patsy has some very special friendships here at Farplace, particularly with Ryanne and Brandy, and we’d love for her to be able to go to a new home with one of them if possible. She really enjoys having feline company and loves curling up somewhere high in a lovely cosy bed with her friends. With a quiet home, patience and lots of love, Patsy could make a wonderful companion. She’s got a lovely affectionate personality hiding behind that nervous exterior, and we think she’ll really flourish once she feels completely safe. Patsy needs an indoor-only home. A secure catio or enclosed garden would be a lovely bonus, but isn’t essential. As with all of our cats, Patsy will leave Farplace spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, with her flea and worm treatment up to date, and following a full health check. We’ll also provide you with a full copy of her veterinary records to keep for your own records when she goes off to her new home. Indoor-only policy If you feel you could offer this lovely cat the right home, please email for an adoption questionnaire. We can then arrange a home check. We are happy to consider homes up to around two hours’ travel from the rescue. Any further than this can make it difficult for us to offer the support we feel is important after adoption.
