AGGIORNAMENTO: Reyna è ora in una meravigliosa casa di accoglienza nel Cambridgeshire. Condivide la sua casa di accoglienza con diversi cani residenti e anche se pensiamo che abbia vissuto una vita protetta senza molta interazione, grazie al loro aiuto, ha veramente imparato come interagire e godersi la compagnia di altri cani. Anche se molto nervosa quando è arrivata, lentamente ma in modo sicuro è uscita dal suo guscio con l'aiuto della sua famiglia di accoglienza ed è andata persino per alcune piccole avventure in un caffè! Può ancora essere timida con le persone nuove, ma è affettuosa con tutti, specialmente con sua madre adottiva che è un grande preferito poiché fa tutte le passeggiate! Il suo carattere sta emergendo man mano che guadagna fiducia e può essere un dolce monello! È un vero piacere guardarla crescere e imparare che il mondo può essere un posto divertente e sicuro. Viaggia bene in auto, ansiosa di salire per una passeggiata! Ha anche imparato bene l'addestramento a casa. La sua madre adottiva la chiama il cane perfetto. Si intende bene con tutti i cani residenti ma l'altro cane collie residente è un grande preferito! Cerca una casa con una famiglia gentile e paziente che possa continuare tutto il magnifico lavoro della sua casa di accoglienza. Reyna è un border collie. Il passaporto spagnolo dice che ha quasi 8 anni ma il veterinario pensa che potrebbe essere più giovane. Reyna è stata data al rifugio insieme ai suoi tre cuccioli (Ares, Sena e Zeus) da una famiglia che l'ha tenuta fuori per tutta la sua vita. Pensiamo che sia stata legata per la maggior parte di quel tempo e non ha avuto la possibilità di interagire molto con gli umani o con altri cani. Reyna è arrivata al rifugio molto spaventata con tante paure e insicurezze. Sta migliorando nel tempo e permette alle persone di darle attenzione e di toccarla ma avrà bisogno di una casa paziente e curante che le permetta di crescere nella sua fiducia nel suo tempo, poiché è molto spaventata dalle cose nuove per lei. Una volta che è abituata alle persone, è molto dolce e affettuosa.

UPDATE: Reyna is now in a wonderful foster home in Cambridgeshire. She shares her foster home with several resident dogs and although we think she’s lived a sheltered life without much interaction, with their guidance, she’s really learned how to interact and enjoy the company of other dogs. Although very nervous when she first arrived, she has slowly but surely come out of her shell with the guidance of her foster family and has even been for some little adventures to a cafe! She can still be shy of new people but she’s affectionate with everyone, especially her foster mum who’s a firm favourite since she does all the walks! Her character is coming out as she gains confidence and she can be a lovable cheeky monkey! She’s a real joy to watch as she grows and learns that the world can be a fun and safe place to be. She travels well in the car, eager to jump in for a walk! She’s also picked up house training very well too. Her foster mum calls her the perfect dog. She gets on well with all the resident dogs but the other resident collie is a firm favourite! She is looking for a home with a kind and patient family who can carry on all the amazing work of her foster home Reyna is a border collie. Her Spanish passport says she’s almost 8 years old but the vet thinks she might be younger. Reyna was given to the shelter along with her three puppies (Ares, Sena and Zeus) by a family who kept her outside her whole life. We think she’s been chained up for most of that time and hasn’t had the chance to interact with humans much or other dogs. Reyna arrived at the shelter very scared with many fears and insecurities. She is improving in time and allows people to give her attention and be stroked but she will need a patient and caring home that will let her confidence grow in her own time as she is very scared of things that are new to her. Once she is familiar with people, she’s very sweet and affectionate
