Sherlock è uno dei cani che abbiamo preso da un altro riscatto che si è trovato sopraffatto dal numero di cani che avevano bisogno di aiuto. L'abbiamo conosciuto nel novembre quando siamo andati a trovare il suo canile e ci siamo innamorati di lui allora. È bello averlo con noi nel santuario! Sherlock è un giovane cane intelligente e è chiaro che ha bisogno di molto più esercizio e stimolazione di quanto possiamo offrirgli nel santuario. Cerca l'avventura e è evidente che amerà la vita all'aperto quando potrà seguire il suo naso e stimolare il suo cervello. La nostra migliore stima è che Sherlock sia un incrocio Jura/Segugio. È estremamente bello, con una struttura atletica e quelle bellissime orecchie lunghe del cane da caccia. È un ragazzo molto amabile, che si muove con la coda e si sente a suo agio e amichevole con le persone. Ama i suoi premi e pensiamo che risponderà bene all'addestramento. È anche un cane giocoso e ama correre con i giochi. Sherlock va d'accordo con altri cani, come fanno quasi tutti questi bei cani da caccia. È nel loro DNA lavorare in branchi e con presentazioni attente, Sherlock potrebbe essere in grado di unirsi a una casa con un altro cane residente. Il suo migliore amico nel santuario è Carol, il cane da caccia Ariegeois e formano certamente una bella coppia insieme! Questo bel cane da caccia soddisfa molte caselle! È bello, adorabile, giocoso e intelligente!

Sherlock is one of the dogs that we have taken on from a fellow rescuer who has found himself overwhelmed with the number of dogs needing help. We met him in November when we visited his pound and fell in love with him then. It’s lovely to have him join us at the sanctuary! Sherlock is a young, intelligent dog and it’s clear to see that he needs a lot more exercise and stimulation that we can offer him at the sanctuary. He is looking for adventure and it’s clear that he is going to love life in the great outdoors when he can follow his nose and stimulate his brain. Our best guess is that Sherlock is a Jura/Segugio cross. He’s extremely hansome, with an athletic build and those gorgeous long ears of the scent hound. He’s very friendly, waggy boy who is comfortable and friendly with people. He likes his treats and we think that he’ll respond well to training. He’s also a playful boy and enjoys running around with toys. Sherlock gets on well with other dogs, as most of these lovely hounds do. It is in their DNA to work in packs and with careful introductions, Sherlock would be able to join a home with another resident dog. His best friend at the sanctuary is Carol the Ariegeois hound and they certainly make a handsome pair together! This handsome hound ticks a lot of boxes! He’s gorgeous, loveable, playful and clever!
