Sherlock es uno de los perros que hemos adoptado de un rescate que se ha encontrado abrumado con el número de perros que necesitan ayuda. Lo conocimos en noviembre cuando visitamos su refugio y nos enamoramos de él entonces. Es maravilloso tenerlo con nosotros en el santuario! Sherlock es un perro joven e inteligente y es fácil ver que necesita mucho más ejercicio y estímulo de lo que podemos ofrecerle en el santuario. Busca aventuras y es evidente que amará la vida al aire libre cuando pueda seguir su olfato y estimular su mente. Nuestra mejor suposición es que Sherlock es un cruce de Jura/Segugio. Es extremadamente guapo, con un cuerpo atlético y esos hermosos orejas largas de perro de caza. Es muy amigable, un chico con cola movida que está cómodo y amistoso con las personas. Le gustan sus golosinas y creemos que responderá bien al entrenamiento. También es un chico juguetón y disfruta correr con juguetes. Sherlock se lleva bien con otros perros, como hacen la mayoría de estos hermosos perros de caza. Es parte de su ADN trabajar en manadas y con presentaciones cuidadosas, Sherlock podría unirse a una casa con otro perro residente. Su mejor amigo en el santuario es Carol, el perro de caza Ariegeois y ciertamente forman un par apuesto juntos! Este hermoso perro de caza cumple muchos requisitos. Es guapo, cariñoso, juguetón y inteligente!

Sherlock is one of the dogs that we have taken on from a fellow rescuer who has found himself overwhelmed with the number of dogs needing help. We met him in November when we visited his pound and fell in love with him then. It’s lovely to have him join us at the sanctuary! Sherlock is a young, intelligent dog and it’s clear to see that he needs a lot more exercise and stimulation that we can offer him at the sanctuary. He is looking for adventure and it’s clear that he is going to love life in the great outdoors when he can follow his nose and stimulate his brain. Our best guess is that Sherlock is a Jura/Segugio cross. He’s extremely hansome, with an athletic build and those gorgeous long ears of the scent hound. He’s very friendly, waggy boy who is comfortable and friendly with people. He likes his treats and we think that he’ll respond well to training. He’s also a playful boy and enjoys running around with toys. Sherlock gets on well with other dogs, as most of these lovely hounds do. It is in their DNA to work in packs and with careful introductions, Sherlock would be able to join a home with another resident dog. His best friend at the sanctuary is Carol the Ariegeois hound and they certainly make a handsome pair together! This handsome hound ticks a lot of boxes! He’s gorgeous, loveable, playful and clever!
