Tinkerbelle2008 | Cervo | Shetland | Sotto 10 hh Tinkerbelle ha sofferto in passato di una condizione chiamata Laminiti; ha bisogno di una gestione continua e attenta e di trattamenti per i piedi a causa di ciò. Questo è il motivo principale per cui la maggior parte dei Shetland che entrano nel nostro recupero rimangono con noi, poiché possono essere molto difficili da tenere in salute e benessere. Il nostro numero medio di Shetland in residenza è otto - quindi avremo sempre bisogno del tuo supporto, per finanziare la gestione quotidiana e il benessere di questi animali. La storia fino ad oggi... Tinkerbelle si è unita a noi nelle stesse tristi circostanze di Chequers e Anna, nel gennaio 2020. Erano un trio molto unito, essendosi vissuti insieme come un piccolo gruppo per molti anni. Era molto amichevole e accessibile fin dall'inizio, ma non era così propensa a comportarsi quando le veniva chiesto di fare cose che non le piacevano, come alzare le zampe o spostarsi nella stalla mentre pulivamo. Fortunatamente è diventata più educata e ha capito molto velocemente come attirare l'attenzione facendo smorfie carine davanti alla porta o alla recinzione della stalla. Siamo stati fortunati che una supporter locale di Here4Horses, Dot, ci abbia contattati, che aveva voglia di aggiungere un altro dolce animale alla sua mandria e ha gentilmente offerto a Tinkerbelle un ambiente di accoglienza. They were a very close-knit trio having lived together as a tiny herd for many years.She was very friendly and approachable from the outset but not so keen to behave when asked to do things she wasn’t happy with, like picking up her feet or moving over in the stable whilst we muck out. She thankfully became more mannerly and very quickly figured out how to attract attention by pulling cute faces over the stable door or gate.We were fortunate to be approached by local Here4Horses supporter Dot, who was keen to add another cutie to her herd and kindly offered Tinkerbelle a foster home.Likes: her belly
