18-04-26 Cloe è una piccola signora molto preoccupata che ci è arrivata da un ambiente di allevamento e non è ancora a suo agio con il contatto. È chiaro che ha avuto poco contatto con la gentilezza, quindi può essere abbastanza impaurita e potrebbe avere un attacco di panico se si avvicina troppo velocemente e potrebbe prendere la decisione sbagliata se viene spinta fuori dalla sua zona di comfort. Cloe si calma rapidamente una volta che si sente al sicuro e ha già iniziato a fare ottimi progressi. Con il membro preferito del personale mostra già il suo lato divertente e affettuoso ed è felice di andargli incontro, baciarli le dita e anche fare una piccola danza eccitata. Con adottanti pazienti e comprensivi che sappiano apprezzare il motivo per cui potrebbe sentirsi spaventata o difensiva e la supportino mentre costruisce fiducia, crediamo che si adatterà e inizierà a uscire dal guscio. Avrà bisogno di un ambiente tranquillo e silenzioso riservato agli adulti, senza bambini in visita e con adottanti che hanno esperienza con cani esposti a situazioni di stress e che siano disposti a darle la pazienza, la gentilezza e il tempo necessari per davvero prosperare. Cloe sta già iniziando ad avvicinarsi a te lentamente sulle tue condizioni e quindi avrà bisogno di molto tempo, incoraggiamento dolce e extra cura per continuare a costruire la sua fiducia. Adora la compagnia di altri cani e avrà bisogno di un cane residente gentile, calmo e sicuro nel suo nuovo ambiente per aiutarla a orientarsi nella vita domestica. Poiché non ha mai vissuto in casa prima, gli adottanti dovranno essere gentili e comprensivi mentre si adatta e impara tutto sulla vita domestica e nuove competenze come l'addestramento alla pipì in casa. Non cammina ancora con guinzaglio e pettorina e dovrà praticare in casa e nel giardino una volta che sarà più a suo agio con il contatto. A Cloe sono state estratte 7 denti al momento della sua sterilizzazione insieme alla riparazione di un'ernia inguinale. Aveva un nodulo sul bordo superiore del suo occhio destro che è stato rimosso. Cloe ha un documento di viaggio. Questo cane può essere adottato con un cane residente.

Cloe is a very worried little lady who has come to us from a breeding environment and is still learning that people can be kind. It is clear she has had very little positive experience with humans in the past, and as a result she finds trust incredibly difficult. She can be flighty when worried and may choose to protect herself if she feels pressured or uncomfortable. Cloe is a sweet but complex girl who has already shown us that, once she truly trusts someone, she has a wonderful and affectionate side. With her favourite member of staff, the very first person who cared for her when she arrived, she is a completely different dog. She happily approaches for attention, enjoys gentle fusses, is comfortable being picked up, and greets him with excitement and affection. Watching the bond they have built is incredibly special and shows just how much potential Cloe has when given the time she needs to feel safe. However, trust does not come easily to Cloe, and she remains very wary of most people. She is still uncomfortable with handling from those she does not know well and may nip if she feels she needs to protect herself. This is not through malice, but simply because she is frightened and has not yet learned that she does not need to be afraid. Cloe will need a calm and quiet adult-only home with no visiting children and adopters who have experience of very worried ex-breeding dogs. Her new family will need to understand that building a relationship with her is likely to take time and that progress will come through patience, consistency, and allowing her to make her own choices. The best way to win Cloe over is to let her approach on her own terms. She needs people who can resist the temptation to rush her and instead allow her to work out for herself that they are safe and trustworthy. Once she reaches that point, we believe she has the potential to become a truly loving and devoted companion. Cloe absolutely loves the company of other dogs and will need a kind, calm, and confident resident dog in her new home. Having a canine friend gives her comfort and reassurance and will help guide her as she learns about life beyond the rescue. As she has never lived in a home before, Cloe's adopters will need to be patient as she learns all about home life, including house training and other everyday routines. She does not yet walk on a lead and harness and will need time to become comfortable with handling before this training can begin. Although progress with Cloe may be slow at times, she has already shown that she is capable of forming strong bonds when given the opportunity. In a loving home where she has all the time in the world to build trust, we believe she will continue to blossom and reveal the sweet little girl we know is there. Cloe has had 7 teeth extracted at the time of her spay, as well as an inguinal hernia repaired. She also had a lump removed from her right upper eyelid. Cloe has a travel document. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
