Crumble è una signora preoccupata che è entrata nel nostro rifugio da un allevatore, alla ricerca di una nuova inizio. Quando è arrivata per la prima volta, era molto preoccupata e incerta rispetto al mondo che la circondava, ma con il tempo e la pazienza ha iniziato a calmarsi meravigliosamente. Crumble ora è molto meno timorosa nei confronti degli esseri umani e ha davvero cominciato a uscire dal suo guscio, scegliendo di interagire di più con il personale e mostrando curiosità verso il suo ambiente. Pur essendo ancora sensibile e apprezzando lo spazio rispettato, è chiaro che Crumble aveva semplicemente bisogno di tempo per sentirsi al sicuro. Con rassicurazioni dolci e tanti attenzioni, la sua vera personalità sta iniziando a brillare. È un'anima gentile che risponde meglio a interazioni serene e gentili e introduzioni lente. Sarebbe più felice e si svilupperà meglio come unico cane in casa, dove può godere di tutta l'attenzione, adattarsi più facilmente a una routine e costruire un forte legame con la sua nuova famiglia. Essendo mai vissuta in un ambiente domestico prima, avrà bisogno di supporto paziente per l'addestramento all'uso del bagno e per imparare le routine quotidiane. Avrà bisogno di una casa senza gatti poiché è molto interessata a loro. Cerchiamo una casa con adulti esperti dove Crumble possa continuare a costruire la sua fiducia a suo ritmo. Un ambiente tranquillo con adottanti comprensivi che saranno felici di lasciarla procedere con calma permetterà a Crumble di veramente fiorire. Crumble ha una precedente ferita da morso all'interno dell'orecchio, che è attualmente in trattamento e i nostri veterinari hanno notato che ha una lussazione della rotula di grado 2. Questo non le causa alcun problema e potrebbe migliorare con esercizi dolci mentre sviluppa la muscolatura.

Crumble is a worried lady who came into our care from a breeder, searching for a fresh start. When she first arrived, she was very worried and unsure of the world around her, but with time and patience she has begun to settle beautifully. Crumble is now much less fearful of us humans and has really started to come out of her shell, choosing to engage more with staff members and showing curiosity about her surroundings. While she can still be sensitive and appreciates having her space respected, it’s clear that Crumble simply needed time to feel safe. With gentle reassurance and plenty of TLC, her true personality is beginning to shine through. She is a gentle soul who responds best to calm, kind interactions and slow introductions. She would be happiest and thrive best as the only dog in the home, where se can enjoy all the attention, settle more easily into a routine, and build a strong bond with her new family. As she has never lived in a home environment before, she will need patient support with house training and learning everyday routines. She will need a home without cats as she is overly interested. We are looking for an experienced, adult-only home where Crumble can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. A quiet household with understanding adopters who are happy to let her take things slowly will allow her to truly flourish. With the right people, time, and lots of love, Crumble will make a wonderfully rewarding companion. Crumble has a previous bite wound inside her ear, which is currently being treated and our vets have noted that she has a Grade 2 luxating patella. This doesn't cause her any issues and may improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle.
