Fergie è un tuttofare che ama le passeggiate quotidiane e i giochi con il suo padrone ed è altrettanto felice con abbracci sul divano! È un tipico dachshund con tanta personalità e i suoi propri modi strani. Può essere riservato con gli estranei all'inizio, poiché ha bisogno di tempo per valutare nuove persone, ma una volta che si sente a proprio agio, forma legami molto forti ed è estremamente fedele, affettuoso e amorevole. Adora la vicinanza fisica con il suo umano e si accoccolerà volentieri per un abbraccio ogni volta che ne ha l'occasione. Gode del gioco con i suoi giocattoli ed è intelligente e desideroso di imparare, apprendendo rapidamente nuovi comandi. Fuori casa, Fergie è abituato a incontrare altri cani ed è un cane educato che potrebbe abbaiare contro cani che invadono il suo spazio, ma generalmente preferisce ignorarli. È abituato a passeggiate quotidiane e gode di un buon olfatto tra la vegetazione. Fergie è in buona salute. Soffre di alopecia con diluizione del colore, ben gestita attraverso la sua dieta e antistaminici. È addestrato a fare i bisogni fuori e dorme nella camera da letto del suo attuale proprietario. Fergie is an all-rounder who enjoys daily walks and games with his owner and is equally happy with sofa snuggles! He is a typical dachshund with plenty of character and his own little quirky ways. He can be wary of strangers at first, as he likes to take his time assessing new people, but once he feels comfortable, he forms very strong bonds and is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and loving. He loves physical closeness with his human and will happily curl up for a cuddle whenever he gets the chance. He enjoys playing with his toys and is intelligent and eager to learn, picking up new commands quickly. Outside the home, Fergie is used to meeting other dogs and is a polite dog who might bark at dogs who invade his space but is generally happy to ignore them. He is used to good walk every day and enjoys a good sniff through the undergrowth. Fergie is in good health. He has colour dilution alopecia which is well managed through his diet and anti-histamines. He is house-trained and sleeps in his current owner’s bedroom. Once settled, he can be left on his own for up to four hours. In the right home he will make a devoted and rewarding companion.
