11-05-26 Flamingo è una giovane donna timida ma dolce che ci è arrivata da un allevatore. È molto curiosa e chiaramente vuole fare amicizia, ma non è ancora molto sicura di sé e sta ancora imparando a iniziare quelle amicizie. Con un po' di pazienza e rassicurazione, Flamingo ha tutte le potenzialità per svilupparsi in un compagno amorevole e fedele. Flamingo cerca fiducia e supporto dai suoi amici canini, quindi avrà bisogno almeno di un cane gentile e sicuro in casa per aiutarla a orientarsi e a imparare come vivere in un ambiente domestico. Poiché Flamingo non ha mai vissuto in casa prima, i futuri adottatori dovranno essere pazienti e comprensivi mentre impara le basi, tra cui l'addestramento alla pipì in casa. Non è ancora abituata a camminare al guinzaglio, ma pensiamo che possa impararlo abbastanza velocemente una volta che si sentirà più comoda e sicura. 11-05-26 Flamingo is a shy but sweet young lady who has come to us from a breeder. She is very inquisitive and clearly wants to make friends, but she isn’t overly confident just yet and is still learning how to initiate those friendships. With a little patience and reassurance, Flamingo has all the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. Flamingo looks to her canine friends for confidence and support, so she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in the home to help guide her as she settles in and learns about life in a home environment. As Flamingo has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns the basics, including house training. She is not yet walking on a lead, but we feel this is something she should pick up fairly quickly once she begins to feel more comfortable and secure. Flamingo would love an active home that can offer her plenty of quiet adventures, allowing her to explore the world at her own pace while continuing to build her confidence. She could share her home with dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate and understand that she will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and her own space to settle in. Flamingo has come to us with a lump on her right shoulder and an umbilical hernia that will be addressed at the time of her spay. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
