11-05-26 Flamingo est une jeune fille timide mais douce qui nous a été envoyée par un éleveur. Elle est très curieuse et souhaite clairement faire des amis, mais elle n'est pas encore très confiante et apprend encore comment initier ces amitiés. Avec un peu de patience et de rassurance, Flamingo a tout le potentiel pour devenir un compagnon aimant et fidèle. Flamingo cherche le soutien et la confiance auprès de ses amis canins, donc elle aura besoin d'au moins un chien gentil et confiant dans la maison pour l'aider à s'adapter et à apprendre à vivre en famille. Étant donné que Flamingo n'a jamais vécu en famille auparavant, ses adoptants devront être patients et compréhensifs pendant qu'elle apprend les bases, y compris l'entraînement aux cabinets. Elle ne marche pas encore en laisse, mais nous pensons qu'elle apprendra facilement une fois qu'elle se sentira plus à l'aise et en sécurité. Flamingo adorerait une maison active qui lui offrira beaucoup d'aventures calmes, lui permettant d'explorer le monde à son propre rythme tout en continuant à développer sa confiance. Elle pourrait partager sa maison avec des adolescents qui connaissent les chiens et qui comprennent qu'elle aura besoin d'une introduction douce et silencieuse à la maison ainsi qu'à son propre espace pour s'installer. Flamingo nous a été apportée avec une bosse sur l'épaule droite et une hernie ombilicale qui sera traitée lors de sa stérilisation. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un chien résident.

11-05-26 Flamingo is a shy but sweet young lady who has come to us from a breeder. She is very inquisitive and clearly wants to make friends, but she isn’t overly confident just yet and is still learning how to initiate those friendships. With a little patience and reassurance, Flamingo has all the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. Flamingo looks to her canine friends for confidence and support, so she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in the home to help guide her as she settles in and learns about life in a home environment. As Flamingo has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns the basics, including house training. She is not yet walking on a lead, but we feel this is something she should pick up fairly quickly once she begins to feel more comfortable and secure. Flamingo would love an active home that can offer her plenty of quiet adventures, allowing her to explore the world at her own pace while continuing to build her confidence. She could share her home with dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate and understand that she will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and her own space to settle in. Flamingo has come to us with a lump on her right shoulder and an umbilical hernia that will be addressed at the time of her spay. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
