Flossie cerca una casa tranquilla e prevedibile con una famiglia amorevole e attiva che possa portarla in avventure olfattive, che abbia tempo per aiutarla a stabilirsi e le dia tutto l'amore e l'attenzione che merita. Può essere ansiosa nel conoscere persone nuove e con molto contatto, quindi potrebbe vivere con bambini più grandi delle scuole secondarie che siano calmi intorno a lei e che sappiano leggere quando è a disagio, che possano giocare dolcemente con lei e dargli spazio per riposare e rilassarsi quando necessario. Flossie potrebbe vivere con un altro cane amichevole e vivace che le dica felicemente quando è finito il tempo di gioco, un cane che le insegni le basi e la aiuti a costruire la sua autostima, questo sarà soggetto a colloqui positivi al centro. Vivere con un cane non è indispensabile, sarebbe felice con compagni di passeggiata amichevoli e vivaci. Flossie ha già un po' di addestramento, fa un bel "seduto" e "tocca", è una ragazza golosa e ama imparare nuove cose se è offerta una deliziosa ricompensa. Spera una casa con un giardino privato e sicuro dove possa girovagare comodamente. Flossie si può stabilire in casa purché abbia un bel letto per dormire e alcuni giochi divertenti per tenersi impegnata, ogni periodo di assenza dovrà essere costruito gradualmente una volta che avrà avuto tempo per stabilirsi nella sua nuova casa. Flossie dovrà incontrare i suoi futuri adottatori diverse volte prima di andare a casa, quindi considerate questa cosa quando fate domanda. Una volta che si sente a suo agio con voi, le piace un abbraccio, si avvicina a voi, sebbene abbia bisogno che voi leggiate quando è a disagio e le diano spazio quando necessario. Flossie is looking for a calm and predictable home with a loving and active family who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She can be worried by meeting new people and lots of handling so could live with older secondary school children who can be calm around her and will read when she is uncomfortable, who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest and relax when needed. Flossie could live with another friendly and playful dog who will happily tell her when playtime is over, a dog that will teach her the ropes and help her build her confidence, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre. Living with a dog is not a necessity, she would be happy with have friendly playful walking buddies. Flossie has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit” and “touch”, she is a foodie girl and loves to learn new things if a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in at her leisure. Flossie can settle in the home as long as she has a nice bed to sleep on and some fun enrichment to keep her entertained, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Flossie will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Happy and playful girl Flossie is a 3 year old Border Collie who loves to sniff and explore her surroundings. She is a playful girl and loves to chase a ball around, she hasn’t learnt to bring it back though so be ready to get your steps up fetching the ball for her, she is happy to play by herself too, pushing the ball around and chasing after it. Once she feels comfortable with you she does like a cuddle, she will lean in close to you, although she does need you to read when she is uncomfortable and give her space when needed. This super girl is ready to find her new home.
