Flossie busca una casa tranquila y predecible con una familia amorosa y activa que puedan llevarla a aventuras olfativas, que tengan tiempo para ayudarla a adaptarse y le den todo el amor y atención que se merece. Puede sentirse ansiosa al conocer a nuevas personas y con mucha manipulación, por lo tanto podría vivir con niños de secundaria mayor, que sean tranquilos a su alrededor y que sepan leer cuando esté incómoda, que puedan jugar con ella amablemente y le den espacio para descansar y relajarse cuando sea necesario. Flossie podría vivir con otro perro amigable y juguetón que le diga felizmente cuándo termina el tiempo de juego, un perro que le enseñe las bases y la ayude a construir su confianza, esto dependerá de reuniones exitosas en el centro. Vivir con un perro no es un requisito, estaría contenta con compañeros de paseo amigables y juguetones. Flossie tiene cierta formación, hace un bonito "sentado" y "tocar", es una chica fanática de la comida y ama aprender nuevas cosas si hay un tentempié delicioso disponible. Busca una casa con un jardín privado y seguro donde pueda moverse libremente a su ritmo. Flossie puede adaptarse a la casa siempre que tenga una cama cómoda para dormir y algo de entretenimiento divertido para mantenerla ocupada, cualquier tiempo de ausencia debe aumentarse lentamente una vez que haya tenido tiempo de adaptarse a su nueva casa. Flossie necesitará conocer a sus adoptadores varias veces antes de irse a casa, así que tenga esto en cuenta al aplicar. Tenga en cuenta que si es seleccionada, nuestro proceso de reubicación suele tomar hasta 7 días, y los posibles adoptantes deberían venir al centro para conocerla dentro de las 48 horas de ser seleccionados. Una vez que se sienta cómoda contigo, le gusta un abrazo, se acerca cerca de ti, aunque necesita que leas cuándo se siente incómoda y le des espacio cuando sea necesario. Flossie is looking for a calm and predictable home with a loving and active family who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She can be worried by meeting new people and lots of handling so could live with older secondary school children who can be calm around her and will read when she is uncomfortable, who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest and relax when needed. Flossie could live with another friendly and playful dog who will happily tell her when playtime is over, a dog that will teach her the ropes and help her build her confidence, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre. Living with a dog is not a necessity, she would be happy with have friendly playful walking buddies. Flossie has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit” and “touch”, she is a foodie girl and loves to learn new things if a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in at her leisure. Flossie can settle in the home as long as she has a nice bed to sleep on and some fun enrichment to keep her entertained, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Flossie will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Happy and playful girl Flossie is a 3 year old Border Collie who loves to sniff and explore her surroundings. She is a playful girl and loves to chase a ball around, she hasn’t learnt to bring it back though so be ready to get your steps up fetching the ball for her, she is happy to play by herself too, pushing the ball around and chasing after it. Once she feels comfortable with you she does like a cuddle, she will lean in close to you, although she does need you to read when she is uncomfortable and give her space when needed. This super girl is ready to find her new home.
