Sono stato abbandonato qui dalla mia famiglia e in quel momento ho perso completamente la fiducia nelle persone e volevo solo essere lasciato in pace. Il rifugio è troppo stressante e rumoroso per me, quindi abituarmi a questo ambiente non è stato facile. Sono diventato irascibile e molto irritabile, per questo la maggior parte delle persone passava davanti alla mia gabbia senza guardare due volte. Nel 2019 sono andato in una casa di accoglienza per una settimana, così potevano vedere il mio comportamento fuori dal rifugio. Il momento in cui uscii dal rifugio fu come poter respirare di nuovo! Mi ricordai com'era sentirsi libero a correre e saltare nei campi, senza preoccupazioni. Mi ricordai immediatamente come comportarmi a casa, non saltare sui mobili, non rubare cibo, dormire nel mio letto, non distruggere le cose, non abbaiare quando sono solo - sai, le basi! Anche se la persona che mi ospitava era qualcuno che non avevo considerato nel rifugio, decisi che faceva parte della mia famiglia dal momento in cui mi prese. Le ascoltavo ogni parola, imparavo nuove trucchetti quando offriva cibo in cambio e raccoglievo quei giocattoli e bastoni che lei lanciava disordinatamente in giardino! Ho ottenuto un punteggio perfetto sul mio comportamento lì e ora il rifugio crede che io possa effettivamente diventare un buon e fedele compagno per una famiglia, che capisca che ho bisogno di lunghe passeggiate e attività per essere felice <3 Sono al rifugio da abbastanza tempo e spero veramente che quest'anno possa conoscere la mia famiglia per sempre e essere amato?
