Conosci Trapper. Trapper ha compiuto 4 anni quest'anno e ha aspettato pazientemente nel nostro ramo di Dudley per la sua casa per sempre da quando si è ritirato 18 mesi fa. Se stai cercando un bellissimo nero, allora non guardare oltre. Trapper può essere un ragazzo grande ma non farti ingannare. Grazie a un tempo dedicato uno a uno negli ultimi mesi, ora cammina come un sogno: calmo, rilassato e bene a posto. È un piacere gestirlo e semplicemente è stato trascurato troppo a lungo. Un preferito tra i volontari del nostro ramo di Dudley, Trapper ha conquistato cuori con il suo natura gentile e spirito giocoso. Per dargli le migliori possibilità di trovare la sua casa per sempre, abbiamo chiesto se potesse beneficiare di vivere in un ambiente di accoglienza con noi a Hall Green e i due rami hanno realizzato questo. Prima di ciò era andato in giro da solo lungo strade affollate, guadagnando fiducia ogni volta. Non si lascia impressionare da altre razze e ha mostrato ottime maniere durante i suoi brevi soggiorni nelle case dei volontari - pulito, rilassato e amante dei giochi. Ora che si sta abituando alla vita in accoglienza, Trapper sta andando davvero bene. Condivide lo spazio con due compagni canini: Diego, un vecchio segugio saggio e Buddy, un Labradoodle vivace. Ha preso tutto con facilità. Dopo alcuni giorni focalizzati sul cibo (chi non sarebbe entusiasta di una nuova routine?), sta già calmarsi. Si è anche stretto con Diego e ha avuto un momento divertente correndo con Buddy nel campo senza guinzaglio - anche se Buddy non riusciva a stare al passo! Trapper è affettuoso, intelligente e pieno di divertimento. Sarebbe un meraviglioso aggiunto in una casa amorevole, idealmente con bambini più grandi che possano tenere il suo ritmo e la sua taglia. Meet Trapper. Trapper turned 4 this year and has been waiting patiently at our Dudley branch for his forever home since retiring 18 months ago. If you are searching for a striking black beauty then look no further. Trapper might be a big lad but don't let that fool you. Thanks to some dedicated one to one time over the past few months, he now walks like a dream: calm, collected, and beautifully to heel. He's a joy to handle and has simply been overlooked for far too long. A firm favourite among the volunteers at our Dudley branch, Trapper stole hearts with his gentle nature and playful spirit. To give him the best chance of finding his forever home, we asked if he would benefit from being in a foster home with us at Hall Green and the two branches made that happen. Before that he had been out on solo walks along busy roads, gaining confidence with every outing. He is unfazed by other breeds and has shown lovely manners during his short stays in volunteers' homes - clean, relaxed and toy-loving. Now settling into foster life, Trapper is doing really well. He shares his space with two canine companions: Diego, a wise older greyhound and Buddy, a bouncy Labradoodle. He's taken it all in his stride. After a couple of food-focused days ( who wouldn't be excited by a new routine ? ), he's already mellowing out. He's even snuggled up with Diego and had blast racing with Buddy in his off-lead field - though Buddy couldn't quite keep up! Trapper is affectionate, clever and full of fun. He'd make a wonderful addition to a loving home, ideally with older children who can match his energy and size.
