Maak kennis met Nick, een gevoelige en liefdevolle Saluki jongen van 6 jaar. Toen hij voor het eerst aankwam, was Nick bang en terughoudend tegen mensen, maar in zijn tijdelijke opvang heeft hij langzaam zijn schulp verlaten, genietend van neuzen, knaapjes en knuffels met zijn favoriete mensen. Nick vindt het nog steeds een beetje overweldigend om te leven, dus hij heeft een rustige, geduldige en begrijpende familie nodig om hem te helpen zijn zelfvertrouwen verder op te bouwen. Hij krijgt bevestiging van andere honden en zou baat hebben bij het leven met een rustige, zelfverzekerde hondensamen om hem veilig te laten voelen. Hij doet goed met toilettraining in zijn tijdelijke opvang, hoewel hij mogelijk wat ondersteuning nodig heeft bij het zich aanpassen aan een nieuw milieu. Sommige huishoudelijke geluiden kunnen nog steeds een beetje zorgen oproepen, maar hij groeit langzaam in zelfvertrouwen elke dag. Nick kan potentieel met kinderen van 14+ wonen die respectvol zijn voor zijn schuchtere natuur en blij zijn om hem ruimte te geven wanneer dat nodig is. Met het juiste huis en zachte leiding zal deze lieve jongen echt bloeien. Meet Nick, a sensitive and sweet Saluki boy of 6 years. When he first arrived, Nick was scared and wary of people, but in his foster home he has slowly begun to come out of his shell, enjoying sniffs, snacks, and snuggles with his favourite humans. Nick is still finding life a little overwhelming, so he’ll need a calm, patient, and understanding family to help him continue building confidence. He gains reassurance from other dogs and would benefit from living with a calm, confident canine companion to help him feel secure. He is doing well with house training in his foster home, though he may need some support when settling into a new environment. Some household noises can still be a little worrying for him, but he is slowly growing in confidence every day. Nick could potentially live with children aged 14+ who are respectful of his shy nature and happy to give him space when needed. With the right home and gentle guidance, this sweet boy will truly flourish. A message from Nick’s foster family: “Our loveliest, sweet, gentle, shy and beautiful boy! Nick's been fostered with us and proved to be a very loving house-guest. He's such an affectionate boy; he quietly squeezes beside me on the sofa enjoying lots of silky strokes. He's working on his anxiety and resilience and making progress. He's definitely learned how to love and will reward his forever human with being the centre of his world.
