Lowry zoekt een huis met liefdevolle en actieve adoptanten die hem op speurtochten meenemen, die de tijd nemen om hem te helpen zich in te passen en hem al het liefde en aandacht te geven dat hij verdient. Hij is een vriendelijke knaap maar heeft zijn eigen ruimte nodig om te dromen en te verkennen, dus zou kunnen leven met scholieren van secundair onderwijs die comfortabel zijn met grotere honden, die goed met hem spelen en hem de ruimte geven om te rusten wanneer hij dat nodig heeft. Lowry kan samenleven met een andere hond die zich goed kan verdragen en af en toe kan spelen, dit hangt af van succesvolle ontmoetingen op het centrum. Het samenleven met een hond is geen vereiste, hij is gelukkig met vriendelijke en speelse wandelmaatjes. Hij heeft een beetje opleiding achter de rug, hij is een drukke jongen en kan snel afgeleid worden, hij kan gemakkelijk worden aangemoedigd om aan oefeningen deel te nemen in korte, fijne sessies met behulp van een smakelijke traktatie. Hij wil een huis met een privé of gemeenschappelijke tuin om er rond te dromen en te spelen. Lowry zet zich goed neer mits hij enige leertijd heeft en een comfortabele bed om zich tegen aan te kruipen, dus kan hij maximaal 4 uur alleen zijn, elke afwezigheid moet geleidelijk opgebouwd worden nadat hij tijd heeft gehad om zich in zijn nieuwe huis te settelen. Lowry moet zijn adoptanten enkele keren ontmoeten voordat hij naar huis gaat, dus houd dit alsjeblieft voor ogen bij het indienen van een aanvraag. Let op, als u geselecteerd wordt, duurt ons herhuisprocess meestal maximaal 7 dagen, en potentiële adoptanten moeten binnen 48 uur na selectie naar het centrum komen om hem te ontmoeten. Nieuwsgierig en liefdevolle jongen Lowry is een 1,5-jarige Hound Cross met een zachte ziel. Hij houdt ervan om te verkennen en volgt zijn neus overal heen, soms lijkt hij erg afwezig omdat hij zo bezig is met snuffelen dat hij niet eens merkt dat je er bent. Hij heeft nog niet echt belangstelling getoond voor speelgoed, maar welke spellen je ook kunt spelen die zijn neus gebruiken is hij jouw knaap! Hij geniet van een knuffel, hij loopt naar je toe voor een snelle rug- of nekkrab en vervolgt dan weer zijn belangrijke bedrijf. Deze geweldige jongen is echt op zoek naar zijn nieuwe thuis.

Lowry is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He cannot live in an open-plan home, he needs to be able to be separated from the kitchen area as he finds food just a little too tempting. He is a friendly bean but does need his own space to potter and explore, so could live with secondary school children who are comfortable with larger dogs, who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when he needs. Lowry could live with another dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meets at the centre. Living with a dog is not a necessity, he would be happy with friendly and playful walking buddies. He has a little training under his belt, he is a busy boy and can be easily distracted, he can be enticed to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. He would like a home with a private or communal garden to have a potter around and play in. Lowry is worried being left so would like someone home the majority of the time, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Lowry will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home with the potential for home visits to make sure he is settling in well, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Curious and affectionate boy Lowry is a 1 and a half year old Hound Cross with a kind soul and a busy mind. He loves to explore and follows his nose wherever he goes, he can sometimes be seen as quite aloof because he is so busy sniffing that he doesn’t even notice you have arrived. He hasn’t really shown an interest with toys, but any games you can play that involve using his nose and he is your guy! He does enjoy a fuss, he will approach for a quick back or neck scratch and then head back off on important business. This super boy is really to find his new home.
