Lowry söker hemma hos älskande och aktiva adoptanter som kan ta med honom på luktade äventyr, som tar tiden att hjälpa honom att anpassa sig och ge honom all kärlek och uppmärksamhet han förtjänar. Han är en vänlig bön men behöver sitt eget utrymme för att promenadera och utforska, så skulle kunna bo med gymnasieelever som är bekväma med stora hundar, som spelar trevligt med honom och ger honom utrymme att vila när han behöver. Lowry kan bo med en annan hund som gärna kan leva i fred och engagera sig i avsökta spel, detta kommer att bero på framgångsrika möten på centret. Att bo med en hund är inte nödvändigt, han skulle vara lycklig med vänliga och spelaktiga promenadkamrater. Han har lite träning under sin kapp, han är en aktiv pojke och kan lätt bli avbruten, han kan lockas att engagera sig i träning i korta, trevliga sessioner med hjälp av en godbit. Han vill ha ett hem med ett privat eller gemensamt trädgård för att promenadera och spela i. Lowry sätter sig fint så länge han har något roligt utmaning och en bekväm säng att krypa upp i, så kan han lämnas upp till 4 timmar, vilken lämningsperiod ska byggas upp försiktigt en gång han har haft tid att anpassa sig till sitt nya hem. Lowry behöver träffa sina adoptanter flera gånger innan han går hem, vänligen håll detta i minnet vid ansökan. Observera att om ni är utvalda, så tar vår återhämtningsprocess vanligtvis upp till 7 dagar, och potentiella adoptanter måste komma till centret för att träffa honom inom 48 timmar efter att ni har blivit utvalda. Nyfiken och kärleksfull pojke Lowry är en 1 och en halv år gammal Hound Cross med ett gott hjärta. Han älskar att utforska och följer sitt näsa varhelst han går, han kan ibland ses som ganska avlägsen eftersom han är så upptagen med lukten att han inte ens märker att du har anlänt. Han har inte verkligen visat intresse för leksaker, men några spel ni kan spela som involverar hans näsa och han är er typ! Han tycker om att få uppmärksamhet, han kommer fram för en snabb rygg- eller nackskrapning och sedan går han tillbaka till viktiga affärer. Lowry is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He cannot live in an open-plan home, he needs to be able to be separated from the kitchen area as he finds food just a little too tempting. He is a friendly bean but does need his own space to potter and explore, so could live with secondary school children who are comfortable with larger dogs, who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when he needs. Lowry could live with another dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meets at the centre. Living with a dog is not a necessity, he would be happy with friendly and playful walking buddies. He has a little training under his belt, he is a busy boy and can be easily distracted, he can be enticed to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. He would like a home with a private or communal garden to have a potter around and play in. Lowry is worried being left so would like someone home the majority of the time, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Lowry will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home with the potential for home visits to make sure he is settling in well, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Curious and affectionate boy Lowry is a 1 and a half year old Hound Cross with a kind soul and a busy mind. He loves to explore and follows his nose wherever he goes, he can sometimes be seen as quite aloof because he is so busy sniffing that he doesn’t even notice you have arrived. He hasn’t really shown an interest with toys, but any games you can play that involve using his nose and he is your guy! He does enjoy a fuss, he will approach for a quick back or neck scratch and then head back off on important business. This super boy is really to find his new home.
