Lowry søker et hjem med kjærlige og aktive eiere som kan ta med ham på snuffe-ferier, som vil ta tiden til å hjelpe ham å skjønne seg og gi ham all kjærlighet og oppmerksomhet han fortjener. Han er en venlig kveite, men trenger sitt eget rom for å pottre og utforske, så kunne leve sammen med mellomtrinnsbarn som er komfortable med store hunder, som spiller fint med ham og gir ham rom til å hvile når han trenger det. Lowry kunne leve sammen med en annen hund som vil leve i fred og engasjere seg i av og til spill, dette blir avhengig av suksessfulle møter på sentrum. Det er ikke nødvendig å leve sammen med en hund, han ville være heldig med venlige og spisselige vandrebukter. Han har litt opplæring på ryggen, han er en aktiv gutt og kan bli lett avledet, han kan bli overbevist om å delta i opplæring i korte, søte sesjoner med hjelp av en smakfull belønning. Han vil ha et hjem med privat eller felles have for å pottre rundt og spille i. Lowry setter seg fint inn så lenge han har litt moro forbedring og en behagelig seng å kose seg i, så kunne bli etterlat med opp til 4 timer, eventuell forlating må bygges opp gradvis når han har fått tid til å skjønne seg i sitt nye hjem. Lowry vil trenge å møte sine eiere flere ganger før han går hjem, så husk dette når du søker. Han har ikke vist stor interesse for leketøy, men enhver spill du kan spille som involverer hans nose, er din gutt! Han elsker å få oppmerksomhet, han kommer på for å få en rask rygg- eller nakkegrat og da gjør han seg på vei igjen på viktige oppgaver. Denne superdugen skal finne sitt nye hjem.

Lowry is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He cannot live in an open-plan home, he needs to be able to be separated from the kitchen area as he finds food just a little too tempting. He is a friendly bean but does need his own space to potter and explore, so could live with secondary school children who are comfortable with larger dogs, who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when he needs. Lowry could live with another dog who will happily co-exist and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meets at the centre. Living with a dog is not a necessity, he would be happy with friendly and playful walking buddies. He has a little training under his belt, he is a busy boy and can be easily distracted, he can be enticed to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. He would like a home with a private or communal garden to have a potter around and play in. Lowry is worried being left so would like someone home the majority of the time, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Lowry will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home with the potential for home visits to make sure he is settling in well, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Curious and affectionate boy Lowry is a 1 and a half year old Hound Cross with a kind soul and a busy mind. He loves to explore and follows his nose wherever he goes, he can sometimes be seen as quite aloof because he is so busy sniffing that he doesn’t even notice you have arrived. He hasn’t really shown an interest with toys, but any games you can play that involve using his nose and he is your guy! He does enjoy a fuss, he will approach for a quick back or neck scratch and then head back off on important business. This super boy is really to find his new home.
