Red houdt van het buitenleven en ontdekken, met plezier wandelingen van een uur of langer, vooral als ze haar geliefde bal mee mag nemen – ze is altijd klaar voor een spelletje vangballen. Ze is comfortabel met kleinere honden en kan deze rustig passeren, maar ze kan zich soms onzeker voelen bij grotere honden en kan luidruchtig worden. Vanwege deze reden zou ze het best als enige hond in huis doen, hoewel ze mogelijk ook met katten of kleine velligen kan leven. Red kan ook in huis wonen met tieners die ervaring hebben met grotere rassen. Ze zou baat hebben bij een thuis met een privé tuin waar ze haar energie kan verbranden en zich kan ontspannen – ze geniet vooral van zonneschenken. Al met al is Red buitengewoon knuffelig en zoekt ze een geduldig, toegewijd thuis waar ze zich veilig en geliefd kan voelen. Red is een 6-jarige Bullmastiff-kruising die momenteel in verzorging is, waar ze zich heeft getoond als een vriendelijke, nieuwsgierige en liefdevolle companion. Ze geniet van het ontmoeten van nieuwe mensen, maar wil zichzelf meestal op haar eigen tempo introduceren en kan soms iets langzaam zijn om contact te leggen. Red vormt sterke banden met haar mens en bloeit op met gezelschap, maar ze heeft wel afhankelijkheidsspanning, dus elke tijd alleen moet geleidelijk en met geduld worden opgebouwd. Ze is volledig gehuisaangeleerd en reist goed in de auto, waardoor ze een geweldige partner is voor uitstapjes en avonturen. Red is momenteel in verzorging en is daarom niet beschikbaar om te bekijken in het centrum zonder een voorafgaande afspraak. Red will need a home where she can feel comfortable without the pressure of frequent visitors, and where her walks can be enjoyed in quieter surroundings. She cannot be left alone for long periods initially, so her leaving hours will need to be built up gradually as she settles in. Red is currently living with one of our lovely foster families, where she has built a wonderful bond with her carer. She loves a cuddle, enjoys playing with her toys, and has a particular favourite – her ball! Red can sometimes be reactive when meeting other dogs and is more comfortable around smaller dogs.
