Red älskar att vara ute och utforska, gladelig att ta promenader på en timme eller längre, särskilt om hon har sin älskade boll att bära med sig – hon är alltid redo för ett spel med bollen. Hon är bekväm vid mindre hundar och kan förbi dem lugnt, men hon kan känna sig orolig vid större hundar och kan bli röstlig. Därför skulle hon bäst passa som enda hunden i hemmet, även om hon potentiellt kan bo med katter eller små pärlor. Red kan också bo hos ungdomar som har erfarenhet av större raser. Hon skulle ha nytta av ett hem med ett privat trädgård där hon kan bränna av energi och vila – hon älskar sällsamt solbad. Ovan allt är Red oerhört kramig och söker ett tålmodigt, engagerat hem där hon kan känna sig trygg och älskad. Red är en 6 år gammal Bullmastiff-korsning som för närvarande är i fosteromsorg, där hon har visat sig vara en vänlig, nyfiken och kärleksfull kamrat. Hon gillar att träffa nya människor, men föredrar att presentera sig på sitt eget tempo och kan ibland vara lite långsam att komma igång. Red skapar starka band med sina människor och trivs bra med sällskap, men hon upplever separationsskräck, så vilken tid som helst ensam måste byggas upp gradvis och med tålamod. Hon är fullt inlärdd och reser väl i bilen, vilket gör henne till en fantastisk partner för utflukter och äventyr. Red loves being outdoors and exploring, happily enjoying walks of an hour or more, especially if she has her beloved ball to carry along—she’s always ready for a game of fetch. She is comfortable around smaller dogs and can pass them calmly, but she can feel nervous around larger dogs and may become vocal. For this reason, she would do best as the only dog in the home, though she could potentially live with cats or small furries. Red could also live teens and who have experience with larger breeds. She would benefit from a home with a private garden where she can burn off energy and relax—she particularly enjoys sunbathing. Above all, Red is incredibly cuddly and is looking for a patient, devoted home where she can feel secure and loved. Red does have ongoing medical to be discussed with any new potential adopters. Red is a 6-year-old Bullmastiff Cross currently in foster care, where she has shown herself to be a friendly, curious, and affectionate companion. She enjoys meeting new people, though she prefers to introduce herself at her own pace and can sometimes be a little slow to initiate contact. Red forms strong bonds with her humans and thrives on companionship, but she does experience separation anxiety, so any time left alone will need to be built up gradually and with patience. She is fully housetrained and travels well in the car, making her a great partner for outings and adventures.
