Roja ama estar al aire libre y explorar, disfrutando felizmente paseos de una hora o más, especialmente si tiene su balón querido para llevar consigo, siempre está lista para un juego de búsqueda. Está cómoda con perros más pequeños y puede pasarlos con calma, pero puede sentirse nerviosa con perros más grandes y podría volverse vocal. Por esta razón, sería mejor que sea el único perro en el hogar, aunque podría vivir con gatos o animales pequeños. Roja también podría vivir con adolescentes y personas que tengan experiencia con razas grandes. Necesitaría un hogar con un jardín privado donde pueda quemar energía y relajarse, le gusta especialmente tomar el sol. En general, Roja es muy cariñosa y busca un hogar paciente y dedicado donde se sienta segura y amada. Roja es una Bullmastín cruzada de 6 años que actualmente está en cuidado temporal, donde ha demostrado ser una compañera amable, curiosa y afectuosa. Le gusta conocer a nuevas personas, aunque prefiere presentarse a su propio ritmo y a veces puede ser un poco lenta para iniciar el contacto. Roja forma fuertes vínculos con sus humanos y prospera con la compañía, pero experimenta ansiedad por la separación, por lo tanto cualquier tiempo solo debe aumentarse gradualmente y con paciencia. Está completamente entrenada para ir al baño y viaja bien en el automóvil, siendo una buena compañera para salidas y aventuras. Her ideal family will be willing to take things at her pace, offering plenty of patience, reassurance and understanding as she settles into her forever home. Red has a sensitive nature, and building trust will be key to helping her feel safe and secure. Once that special bond begins to grow, you’ll discover a lovely girl who enjoys affection, playtime and spending quality time with her favourite people. Red will need a home where she can feel comfortable without the pressure of frequent visitors, and where her walks can be enjoyed in quieter surroundings. She cannot be left alone for long periods initially, so her leaving hours will need to be built up gradually as she settles in. If you can offer Red the calm, loving and predictable home she needs, and have a ball ready to help win her heart, you could be the special person she has been waiting for. Meet Red, a 6-year-and-6-month-old girl who is looking for a patient and understanding family to call her own. Red is happy to say hello to new people when out and about, but she prefers to keep herself to herself and would benefit from walks in quieter locations. She isn’t keen on unfamiliar people visiting her home, so she will need a calm, adult-only home without lots of visitors. Red is currently living with one of our lovely foster families, where she has built a wonderful bond with her carer. She loves a cuddle, enjoys playing with her toys, and has a particular favourite – her ball! Red can sometimes be reactive when meeting other dogs and is more comfortable around smaller dogs. She could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat following careful introductions. Red also has ongoing medical needs, which will be discussed with any potential adopters.
