Sonny er en fantastisk Greyhound, en utmerket blanding av typisk sløv men også utmerket energisk og spennende. Han er veldig venlig mot mennesker, spesielt de som har biter og en selvsikker gutt når han går på promenade. Sonny vil gjerne gå til andre hunder og presentere seg, men etterpå vil han bevege seg videre. Vi anbefaler alltid at det må tas hensyn til små raser med tidligere løpehunder, fordi deres instinkt er å jage noe lite og raskt. Sonny bruker en munnklem på sine promener, som de fleste Greyhounds, og dette er noe han allerede har vært vant til. Han viser ikke mye interesse for leketøy, han er helt sikkert en matgull og burde kanskje bli matet unntatt for andre hunder siden han kan bli pressende i forhold til det. Sonny blir svært opphetet og blir latterlig og dum når han er på, så pass på at han ikke støter deg omkull når "zoomies" begynner! Sonny kan leve sammen med andre Greyhounds og store hunder og barn i ungdomsskolealder. Han har brukt hele livet i en hundekorral, så vær venlig og tålmodig mens han lærer å trene seg i huset og tilbringe tid alene i huset.

Sonny is a fantastic Greyhound, a brilliant mix of typically laid back and cuddly but also wonderfully energetic and playful. He's very friendly with people, particularly those with nibbles and a confident boy when out on his walks, although he seems worried when there are strangers in the house. Sonny is happy to approach other dogs and introduce himself, but then once he's done he'll move on., and he doesn't bother if a dog is barking at him from a garden when he's out walking. We always advise for care to be taken around smaller breeds with ex racers as their instinct is to chase anything small and fast moving, but he has walked past cats and birds without so much as a glance. Sonny does wear a muzzle on his walks, like most Greyhounds, and this is something he's always been used to. He doesn't show much interest in toys, he's definitely more of a foody boy and should probably be fed away from other dogs as he can get pushy about it. Sonny gets excited very easily and becomes goofy and daft when he's on one, so watch he doesn't knock you off your feet when the zoomies kick in! Sonny can live with other Greyhounds and larger dogs and children of high school age. He has been spending weekends in a foster home and has shown to be house trained, and he was good when spending a little time alone after a walk. Sonny travels well in the car.
