Sonny è un fantastico Levriero, una miscela meravigliosa di solitamente rilassato ma anche estremamente energico e giocoso. È molto amichevole con le persone, specialmente quelle che hanno spuntini e un ragazzo sicuro quando è in passeggiata. Sonny è felice di avvicinarsi ad altri cani e presentarsi, ma poi una volta finito passerà oltre. Consigliamo sempre di prestare attenzione intorno ai cani di taglia piccola con i ex corridori, poiché il loro istinto è quello di inseguire qualsiasi cosa piccola e veloce. Sonny indossa sempre una museruola durante le sue passeggiate, come la maggior parte dei Levrieri e questo è qualcosa a cui è sempre stato abituato. Non mostra molta interesse per i giocattoli, è sicuramente più un cane goloso e probabilmente dovrebbe essere alimentato lontano dagli altri cani poiché può diventare insistente. Sonny si eccita facilmente e diventa goffo e stupido quando è in uno stato di eccitazione, quindi attento che non ti faccia cadere quando scatta il "zoomies"! Sonny può vivere con altri Levrieri e cani di grandi dimensioni e bambini di età scolare superiore. Ha trascorso tutta la sua vita in un ambiente kennel, quindi prego di essere paziente mentre si abitua all'addestramento alla casa e al passare del tempo solo in casa.

Sonny is a fantastic Greyhound, a brilliant mix of typically laid back and cuddly but also wonderfully energetic and playful. He's very friendly with people, particularly those with nibbles and a confident boy when out on his walks, although he seems worried when there are strangers in the house. Sonny is happy to approach other dogs and introduce himself, but then once he's done he'll move on., and he doesn't bother if a dog is barking at him from a garden when he's out walking. We always advise for care to be taken around smaller breeds with ex racers as their instinct is to chase anything small and fast moving, but he has walked past cats and birds without so much as a glance. Sonny does wear a muzzle on his walks, like most Greyhounds, and this is something he's always been used to. He doesn't show much interest in toys, he's definitely more of a foody boy and should probably be fed away from other dogs as he can get pushy about it. Sonny gets excited very easily and becomes goofy and daft when he's on one, so watch he doesn't knock you off your feet when the zoomies kick in! Sonny can live with other Greyhounds and larger dogs and children of high school age. He has been spending weekends in a foster home and has shown to be house trained, and he was good when spending a little time alone after a walk. Sonny travels well in the car.
