Oooh, Betty! Ela é uma menina amigável que se certifica de cumprimentar todos os que passam para que tenham a experiência completa Betty. Ela adora companhia e amaria uma família que possa ficar com ela durante a maior parte do tempo. Betty é muito carinhosa e adora abraçar seus humanos com beijos e vive para pequenos beijos em sua própria cabeça. Ela passou um tempo em um lar temporário enquanto se recuperava de uma cirurgia nos joelhos e se comportou impecavelmente, nunca colocando uma patinha errada. Uma luz brilhante, ela conhece muitos comandos e até joga morta quando alguém diz "tiro!". Betty gosta de passar seus dias felizmente deitada em uma poltrona participando da vigilância da vizinhança, e depois dormindo onde seus donos estão, não necessariamente na cama, mas certamente na mesma sala. Betty é boa em coleira, mas não hesitará em meter a cabeça em um arbusto se achar que há vida selvagem lá! Quando vê outro cão, pode ser vocal e não parece muito interessada em interagir com eles. Brinquedos são outra questão; Betty adora qualquer coisa com pelo, garantindo que não fique assim por muito tempo até que ela saia triunfante com apenas o som do brinquedo! Ela está sob nossos cuidados desde setembro de 2024 e a amamos profundamente por sua natureza doce e amorosa, mas desejamos nada mais do que vê-la partir para seu lar para sempre com uma família que merece-a. Betty pode viver com crianças do ensino médio, no entanto, precisará ser o único cachorro em casa, pois não parece querer interagir com outros. Ela é treinada para fazer suas necessidades e pode ficar sozinha por algumas horas sem problema. Betty tem tido problemas constantes com seu joelho desde que entrou nos nossos cuidados, necessitando de cirurgia há algum tempo, e sofreu infecções repetidas no local da cirurgia. Ela precisa de alívio diário da dor e está atualmente fazendo hidroterapia, melhorando. Ela precisará de algum tipo de cuidado médico pelo resto da vida e se o custo for o único obstáculo para você adotá-la, ainda assim gostaríamos de ouvi-la, pois talvez ajuda financeira esteja disponível.

Oooh, Betty! She's a friendly girl who makes sure to greet everyone who passes by so they can have the full Betty experience. She just adores company and would love a family who can be with her most of the time. Betty is so affectionate and loves to smother her humans in kisses and she just lives for little kisses on her own head. She spent a while in a foster home whilst recovering from knee surgery and was impeccably behaved, never putting a paw wrong. A bright spark, she knows lots of commands and even plays dead when someone says "bang!". Betty likes to spend her days happily lazing in an armchair taking part in the neighbourhood watch, and then sleeping where her people are, not necessarily on the bed but certainly in the same room. Betty is good on her lead but won’t think twice about sticking her head in a bush if she thinks there’s wildlife in there! When she spots another dog, she can be vocal and doesn’t really care to interact with them. Toys are a different matter; Betty loves anything with fluff in it, making sure it doesn’t stay that way for long until she triumphantly emerges with just the squeaker! She’s been in our care since September 2024 and we just adore her sweet and loving nature, but we’d love nothing more for her than to see her head off to her forever home with a family that deserves her. Betty can live with children of high school age however will need to be the only dog in the home as she doesn't seem to want to interact with others. She is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours without worry. Betty has had ongoing problems with her knee since she came into our care in need of surgery some time ago, and suffered repeated infections in the surgical site. She needs daily pain relief and is currently having hydrotherapy, and improving. She will need some kind of medical care for the rest of her life and if the cost of this would be the only barrier to you adopting her, we would still love to hear from you as some financial assistance may be available.
