Oooh, Betty! Es una chica amigable que se asegura de saludar a todos los que pasan para que puedan tener la experiencia completa de Betty. Adora la compañía y amaría una familia que pueda estar con ella la mayor parte del tiempo. Betty es muy cariñosa y ama abrumar a sus humanos con besos y vive para los pequeños besos en su propia cabeza. Pasó un tiempo en un hogar de acogida mientras se recuperaba de una cirugía de rodilla y se portó impecablemente, nunca puso un pie equivocado. Una chispa brillante, sabe muchas órdenes y hasta hace muerta cuando alguien dice "bang". A Betty le gusta pasar sus días felizmente tumbada en un sillón participando en el servicio de vigilancia del barrio, y luego durmiendo donde están sus personas, no necesariamente en la cama pero ciertamente en la misma habitación. Betty es buena en la correa pero no dudará en meter su cabeza en un arbusto si cree que hay vida silvestre allí. Cuando ve a otro perro, puede ser vocal y realmente no le importa interactuar con ellos. Los juguetes son otra historia; a Betty le encantan cualquier cosa con peluche, asegurándose de que no siga así por mucho tiempo hasta que salga triunfante con solo el sonajero. Ha estado en nuestro cuidado desde septiembre de 2024 y simplemente la adoramos por su dulce y amoroso carácter, pero lo más deseado para ella sería verla irse a su hogar definitivo con una familia que la merezca. Requisitos para el hogar: Betty puede vivir con niños de edad secundaria, sin embargo necesitará ser el único perro en el hogar ya que no parece querer interactuar con otros. Está entrenada en casa y puede quedarse sola durante unas horas sin preocupaciones. A Betty le han surgido problemas constantes en su rodilla desde que entró a nuestro cuidado y necesitó cirugía hace algún tiempo, y sufrió infecciones repetidas en el sitio quirúrgico. Necesita alivio de dolor diario y actualmente está haciendo hidroterapia, mejorando. Necesitará algún tipo de cuidado médico durante el resto de su vida y si el costo de esto fuera la única barrera para que la adopte, aún nos encantaría escuchar de usted.

Oooh, Betty! She's a friendly girl who makes sure to greet everyone who passes by so they can have the full Betty experience. She just adores company and would love a family who can be with her most of the time. Betty is so affectionate and loves to smother her humans in kisses and she just lives for little kisses on her own head. She spent a while in a foster home whilst recovering from knee surgery and was impeccably behaved, never putting a paw wrong. A bright spark, she knows lots of commands and even plays dead when someone says "bang!". Betty likes to spend her days happily lazing in an armchair taking part in the neighbourhood watch, and then sleeping where her people are, not necessarily on the bed but certainly in the same room. Betty is good on her lead but won’t think twice about sticking her head in a bush if she thinks there’s wildlife in there! When she spots another dog, she can be vocal and doesn’t really care to interact with them. Toys are a different matter; Betty loves anything with fluff in it, making sure it doesn’t stay that way for long until she triumphantly emerges with just the squeaker! She’s been in our care since September 2024 and we just adore her sweet and loving nature, but we’d love nothing more for her than to see her head off to her forever home with a family that deserves her. Betty can live with children of high school age however will need to be the only dog in the home as she doesn't seem to want to interact with others. She is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours without worry. Betty has had ongoing problems with her knee since she came into our care in need of surgery some time ago, and suffered repeated infections in the surgical site. She needs daily pain relief and is currently having hydrotherapy, and improving. She will need some kind of medical care for the rest of her life and if the cost of this would be the only barrier to you adopting her, we would still love to hear from you as some financial assistance may be available.
