Oooh, Betty! È una ragazza molto gentile che si assicura di salutare tutti quelli che passano in modo da poter offrire l'esperienza completa Betty. Adora la compagnia e sarebbe felice in una famiglia che possa stare con lei la maggior parte del tempo. Betty è molto affettuosa e ama baciare i suoi umani e vive per i piccoli baci sulla sua testa. Ha trascorso un po' di tempo in un ambiente di accoglienza mentre si riprendeva da un intervento alle ginocchia ed è stata impeccabilmente comportata, non mettendo mai un artiglio in fallo. Una luce vivace, sa tanti comandi e addirittura finge di morire quando qualcuno dice "bang!". Betty trascorre le sue giornate felicemente sdraiata in una poltrona partecipando alla guardia del quartiere e poi dorme dove sono i suoi umani, non necessariamente sul letto ma sicuramente nella stessa stanza. Betty si comporta bene al guinzaglio ma non esiterà mai a infilare la testa in un cespuglio se pensa che ci sia della fauna selvatica dentro! Quando vede un altro cane, può essere rumorosa e non sembra interessata ad interagire con loro. I giochi sono un'altra storia; Betty adora qualsiasi cosa con peluche, facendo in modo che non rimanga così a lungo finché non esce trionfante con solo il sonaglio! È stata sotto la nostra cura dal settembre 2024 e la adoriamo per la sua dolcezza e il suo amore, ma desidereremmo davvero vederla andare via verso la sua casa per sempre con una famiglia che la merita. Betty può vivere con bambini di età scolastica superiore ma avrà bisogno di essere l'unico cane in casa poiché non sembra voler interagire con gli altri. È abituata in casa e può restare sola per alcune ore senza preoccupazioni. Betty ha avuto problemi continui al ginocchio da quando è entrata nella nostra cura e aveva bisogno di un intervento chirurgico alcuni tempi fa, e ha sofferto di infezioni ricorrenti nella zona operatoria. Ha bisogno di farmaci per il dolore quotidiani e sta attualmente facendo idroterapia, migliorando. Avrà bisogno di qualche tipo di assistenza medica per tutta la vita e se il costo di questa fosse l'unico ostacolo per adottarla, vorremmo comunque sentirti poiché potrebbe esserci aiuto finanziario disponibile.

Oooh, Betty! She's a friendly girl who makes sure to greet everyone who passes by so they can have the full Betty experience. She just adores company and would love a family who can be with her most of the time. Betty is so affectionate and loves to smother her humans in kisses and she just lives for little kisses on her own head. She spent a while in a foster home whilst recovering from knee surgery and was impeccably behaved, never putting a paw wrong. A bright spark, she knows lots of commands and even plays dead when someone says "bang!". Betty likes to spend her days happily lazing in an armchair taking part in the neighbourhood watch, and then sleeping where her people are, not necessarily on the bed but certainly in the same room. Betty is good on her lead but won’t think twice about sticking her head in a bush if she thinks there’s wildlife in there! When she spots another dog, she can be vocal and doesn’t really care to interact with them. Toys are a different matter; Betty loves anything with fluff in it, making sure it doesn’t stay that way for long until she triumphantly emerges with just the squeaker! She’s been in our care since September 2024 and we just adore her sweet and loving nature, but we’d love nothing more for her than to see her head off to her forever home with a family that deserves her. Betty can live with children of high school age however will need to be the only dog in the home as she doesn't seem to want to interact with others. She is house trained and can be left alone for a few hours without worry. Betty has had ongoing problems with her knee since she came into our care in need of surgery some time ago, and suffered repeated infections in the surgical site. She needs daily pain relief and is currently having hydrotherapy, and improving. She will need some kind of medical care for the rest of her life and if the cost of this would be the only barrier to you adopting her, we would still love to hear from you as some financial assistance may be available.
