Em julho de 2014, uma senhora pediu a nossa ajuda com uma ninhada de filhotes que tinha sido abandonada à beira de uma estrada movimentada. Quando chegámos, os cachorrinhos estavam tão selvagens e agressivos que não conseguimos apanhá-los. Acabaram por entrar numa garagem, e aí conseguimos resgatá-los. A Florrie continua connosco no abrigo e, embora esteja agora completamente cega, a sua companheira inseparável, a Hailey, faz-lhe companhia e guia-a.

In Juy of 2014, a lady asked for our help with a litter of pups which had been dumped by a busy road. When we got there the puppies were so feral and aggresive that we were unable to catch them. Eventually they found their way into a garage and we managed to rescue them from there. Florrie is still with us at the shelter and although she is now completely blind, her pan pal Hailey keeps her company and guides her.
