Ela é uma menina feliz, muito doce e fácil de lidar, e claramente gosta de estar com as pessoas. Hungry se dá muito bem com outros cães, então ela ficaria feliz em dividir sua casa com companheiros caninos. Ela também é confiante o suficiente para viver sozinha, desde que seus adotantes estejam presentes grande parte do tempo para mantê-la companhada e dar-lhe a atenção que ela aprecia. Como Hungry nunca viveu em uma casa antes, ela precisará aprender tudo sobre treinamento para casa e os fundamentos gerais da vida em casa. Com paciência e uma rotina consistente, ela deve se adaptar bem. Hungry já consegue andar com coleira, então, uma vez que esteja estabelecida, ela gostaria de ter uma ou duas caminhadas suaves na área local como parte de sua rotina diária. Hungry pode dividir sua casa com adolescentes mais velhos experientes com cães que possam apreciar e entender que ela precisará de uma introdução calma e gentil à casa, juntamente com seu próprio espaço para se estabelecer. Hungry chegou com alopecia nas costas, infecção por levedura em ambos os ouvidos e está um pouco acima do peso. Nossos veterinários tratarão e monitorarão esses problemas para garantir que ela esteja confortável e se sinta bem antes de ir para sua casa definitiva. Exercícios regulares e uma boa dieta a ajudariam a atingir um peso mais saudável. 11-10-26 Tummy is a lovely lady who originally came to us from a breeder and was later adopted into a home. Sadly, she has returned to our care after around 5 months as she wasn't getting along with the resident dog, so she is now looking for a home where she can be the only dog and have all of her family's attention to herself. She also cannot live with cats or small furries. Tummy is a sweet and outgoing girl with a big personality! She loves toys and having a good play, but she also enjoys a quiet fuss and relaxing alongside her people. She has lived in a home before, so she may already know some of the basics such as house training, although she may need a few gentle reminders as she settles back into home life. Tummy would do best with a family who has experience with Dachshunds and understands their wonderful but sometimes strong personalities, although she could also live with a sensible family who are willing to learn and understand her needs. She can live with dog-savvy teenagers aged 13+ who are sensible and will give her the time and space she needs to settle into her new home. Tummy has never been left home alone before and so this is something her adopters will need to build up gradually with her to ensure she doesn't develop separation anxiety. Tummy is an amazing little lady who has already had a change of home and is now ready to find her forever family. We hope that the right home will give her the love, attention and stability she deserves. Tummy has previously been treated for ear infections and also has some hair loss that seemed to begin to grow back when she was in her previous home. She has a history of bladder stones and is currently on a specific diet to help with this, and this will need to be continued in the home. This will need to be monitored by her new vets and her adopters will need to be aware that should she require any treatment or potential surgery in the future it would not be covered by insurance. She has a travel document.
