17-04-26 Hungry est une jeune fille très sympathique qui est venue dans notre refuge provenant d'un éleveur en quête d'une nouvelle vie. Elle est une petite fille joyeuse, très douce et facile à gérer, et elle apprécie clairement la compagnie des humains. Hungry s'entend merveilleusement bien avec les autres chiens, donc elle serait heureuse de partager son foyer avec des compagnons canins. Elle est également suffisamment confiante pour vivre seule, à condition que ses adoptants soient présents la plupart du temps pour lui tenir compagnie et lui accorder l'attention qu'elle apprécie. Comme Hungry n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, elle devra apprendre tout sur l'éducation aux chiottes et les bases générales de la vie en famille. Avec de la patience et une routine constante, elle devrait s'adapter facilement. Hungry sait déjà marcher en laisse, donc une fois qu'elle sera installée, elle appréciera une ou deux promenades douces dans les environs comme partie intégrante de sa routine quotidienne. Hungry pourrait partager son foyer avec des adolescents plus âgés qui comprennent qu'elle aura besoin d'une introduction calme et douce au foyer, ainsi qu'un espace personnel pour s'installer. Hungry est arrivée avec de l'alopécie sur le dos, une infection fongique dans les deux oreilles, et elle est un peu en surpoids. Nos vétérinaires traiteront et surveilleront ces problèmes pour s'assurer qu'elle soit confortable et se sente au mieux avant de partir vers son nouveau foyer définitif. Un exercice régulier et une bonne alimentation l'aidera à atteindre un poids plus sain. Hungry est une jeune fille adorable, affectueuse et de nature aimable, elle fera une excellente compagne pour une famille cherchant un chien gentil et facile à vivre. Elle possède un document de voyage. Ce chien peut être adopté avec un autre chien résidant.

11-10-26 Tummy is a lovely lady who originally came to us from a breeder and was later adopted into a home. Sadly, she has returned to our care after around 5 months as she wasn't getting along with the resident dog, so she is now looking for a home where she can be the only dog and have all of her family's attention to herself. She also cannot live with cats or small furries. Tummy is a sweet and outgoing girl with a big personality! She loves toys and having a good play, but she also enjoys a quiet fuss and relaxing alongside her people. She has lived in a home before, so she may already know some of the basics such as house training, although she may need a few gentle reminders as she settles back into home life. Tummy would do best with a family who has experience with Dachshunds and understands their wonderful but sometimes strong personalities, although she could also live with a sensible family who are willing to learn and understand her needs. She can live with dog-savvy teenagers aged 13+ who are sensible and will give her the time and space she needs to settle into her new home. Tummy has never been left home alone before and so this is something her adopters will need to build up gradually with her to ensure she doesn't develop separation anxiety. Tummy is an amazing little lady who has already had a change of home and is now ready to find her forever family. We hope that the right home will give her the love, attention and stability she deserves. Tummy has previously been treated for ear infections and also has some hair loss that seemed to begin to grow back when she was in her previous home. She has a history of bladder stones and is currently on a specific diet to help with this, and this will need to be continued in the home. This will need to be monitored by her new vets and her adopters will need to be aware that should she require any treatment or potential surgery in the future it would not be covered by insurance. She has a travel document.
