Es una chica feliz, de naturaleza muy dulce y fácil de manejar, y claramente disfruta estar alrededor de las personas. Hungry se lleva maravillosamente bien con otros perros, por lo que estaría encantada de compartir su hogar con compañeros caninos. También es suficientemente segura para vivir como el único perro, siempre que sus adoptantes estén presentes la mayor parte del tiempo para acompañarla y darle la atención que disfruta. Como Hungry nunca ha vivido en un hogar antes, necesitará aprender todo sobre el entrenamiento en casa y los aspectos básicos de la vida en un hogar. Con paciencia y una rutina consistente, debería adaptarse bien. Hungry ya puede caminar con correa, por lo que una vez que se haya adaptado, disfrutaría de una o dos caminatas suaves en el área local como parte de su rutina diaria. Hungry podría compartir su hogar con adolescentes mayores que entiendan que necesitará una introducción tranquila y suave al hogar, así como su propio espacio para adaptarse. Hungry llegó con alopecia en su espalda, una infección por levaduras en ambos oídos y está un poco sobrepeso. Nuestros veterinarios la tratarán y la supervisarán para asegurarnos de que esté cómoda y se sienta bien antes de ir a su hogar definitivo. El ejercicio regular y una buena dieta le ayudarían a lograr un peso más saludable. 11-10-26 Tummy is a lovely lady who originally came to us from a breeder and was later adopted into a home. Sadly, she has returned to our care after around 5 months as she wasn't getting along with the resident dog, so she is now looking for a home where she can be the only dog and have all of her family's attention to herself. She also cannot live with cats or small furries. Tummy is a sweet and outgoing girl with a big personality! She loves toys and having a good play, but she also enjoys a quiet fuss and relaxing alongside her people. She has lived in a home before, so she may already know some of the basics such as house training, although she may need a few gentle reminders as she settles back into home life. Tummy would do best with a family who has experience with Dachshunds and understands their wonderful but sometimes strong personalities, although she could also live with a sensible family who are willing to learn and understand her needs. She can live with dog-savvy teenagers aged 13+ who are sensible and will give her the time and space she needs to settle into her new home. Tummy has never been left home alone before and so this is something her adopters will need to build up gradually with her to ensure she doesn't develop separation anxiety. Tummy is an amazing little lady who has already had a change of home and is now ready to find her forever family. We hope that the right home will give her the love, attention and stability she deserves. Tummy has previously been treated for ear infections and also has some hair loss that seemed to begin to grow back when she was in her previous home. She has a history of bladder stones and is currently on a specific diet to help with this, and this will need to be continued in the home. This will need to be monitored by her new vets and her adopters will need to be aware that should she require any treatment or potential surgery in the future it would not be covered by insurance. She has a travel document.
