Poppy é uma cadelinha de 8 anos que chegou originalmente ao nosso cuidado devido a uma mudança nas horas de trabalho que a deixava diante da possibilidade de ficar sozinha por longas horas. Isso não lhe agrada, por isso ela gostaria muito que a sua nova família estivesse sempre presente, pelo menos no início. O tempo sozinha pode então ser introduzido gradualmente para que ela o veja como algo mais positivo no futuro. Felizmente, ela tem uma boa história de viagens de automóvel e pode juntar-se à família quando saírem. Poppy tenta manter o seu canil limpo aqui e foi treinada em casa. Com um reforço rápido e acesso ao seu próprio jardim, ela deverá recuperar facilmente! Poppy é uma menina doce que procura um novo lar. Ela se deu bem com as pessoas aqui e gosta de um pouco de atenção. Infelizmente, devido a um histórico de proteger objetos, Poppy necessita de um lar só com adultos. Ela adoraria uma família que possa levar seu tempo para desenvolver gradualmente suas habilidades sociais caninas e precisa ser o único cão no lar. Poppy tem algumas necessidades médicas contínuas que exigem que ela seja alimentada com uma dieta especial, isso será discutido com quaisquer adotantes potenciais.

Poppy is an 8yr old Beagle who originally came into our care due to a change in working hours that meant she was being faced with the prospect of being left for long hours. This isn’t something she enjoys so she’d love her new family to be around all the time, at least to begin with. Time left alone can then be gradually introduced so she can see it as a more positive thing in future. Fortunately she’s got a really good history of car travel so can join her family out and about instead. Poppy keeps her kennel clean here and was housetrained in the previous home. With a quick refresher and access to her own garden she should pick it up again no problems! Poppy is a super sweet girl, shes driven by her amazing nose and will easily sniff out any hidden treats, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up with her favourite people, play with her toys and go out for a nice walk through the woods/or long grass so she can have a good old sniff about. Poppy is now ready to relax in a new home. If you are looking for a walking buddy, an expert treat inspector and a Sunday snoozing partner then Poppy might just be the one for you! Poppy is a sweet girl who is on the search for a new home. She is great when meeting people here and likes a bit of fuss. Due to a history of guarding stolen items Poppy needs an adult-only home or sensitble older teenagers (16+), to help with management of this - she has been taught different techniques while in centre and is now ready to tranfer these into a new home. Poppy has a condition that does require her to be on a special diet to manage and this will be discussed with any potential adopters.
