Reba é uma mistura de labrador muito inteligente, sociável, amigável e bonita. Tem cerca de seis anos e pesa 30 quilos. Acreditamos que ela pode estar bem na cidade, mas é provável que se adapte melhor em área rural e sabemos que ela adoraria correr num jardim seguro e cercado. Ela está bem com os outros cães que conheceu até agora no abrigo e, por enquanto, partilha a sua área com Poseidon, o nosso belo pastor alemão. Mas ela precisa de uma apresentação adequada a novos cães. Esta rapariga certamente necessita de alguém disposto a trabalhar com ela tanto fisicamente como mentalmente, porque é uma rapariga muito inteligente com energia, por isso precisa de trabalhar! Quanto às crianças, é melhor que sejam mais velhas, porque ela é bastante grande e animada e pode derrubar crianças mais pequenas. Reba não gosta dos gatos do abrigo e, por isso, não deve conviver com um gato. Não temos conhecimento sobre o seu passado e não sabemos se já viveu dentro de uma casa (provavelmente não), por isso a família futura terá de ser paciente e ajudá-la a aprender. Talvez a doce Reba seja o cão que estás à procura? Sou um labrador misto vivo, amoroso e acho que posso ser o cão dos teus sonhos.

Reba arrived at the shelter in September 2023 looking like life had been anything but kind. She was painfully skinny, frightened of everything, and clearly hadn’t known much love. But even then, there was something in her eyes that said she hadn’t given up. Everyone thought she’d be one of the first to find a home. We were wrong. Nearly three years later, Reba is still waiting. She’s everything you’d expect from a Labrador-type girl. Loyal. Gentle. Affectionate. The kind of dog who doesn’t need much, just people to love, walks to enjoy, and a sofa she can finally call her own. She’s great with other dogs, prefers a cat-free home, and absolutely comes alive when she’s out on a walk with her favourite humans. Every trip outside is the highlight of her day. The hardest part? When the walk ends, Reba goes back to her kennel. Every. Single. Time. She deserves so much more than watching life happen through the bars of a cage. She deserves muddy paws, Sunday snoozes, family adventures, and someone to tell her she’s finally home. Could you help Reba find that person?
