Velvet foi um dos vinte cães presos 24/7 numa quinta. Ela floresceu no abrigo, aprendeu finalmente a confiar nos humanos e está pronta para adopção. O seu único filhote, Queenie, já encontrou um lar amoroso. Esperamos que Velvet tenha sorte em breve. Velvet ainda é bastante tímida e necessita de um lar tranquilo sem crianças. Ela deve ter passado toda a vida a proteger-se da manada, por isso é bastante desconfiada em relação a outros cães. Necessita de um lar compreensivo para lhe dar tempo para perceber que nem todos os cães representam uma ameaça para ela. Tive uma vida muito triste, presa 24/7 numa quinta infernal, mas estou pronto para alguém me mostrar o amor que nunca tive e sei que serei capaz de devolver esse amor mil vezes mais.

Velvet was one of the twenty dogs chained 24/7 on a farm. She has blossomed at the shelter, has finally learned to trust humans and is ready for adoption. Her only puppy, Queenie, has already found a loving home. We hope that Velevet will soon be lucky. Velvet is still quite shy and will need a calm home without children. She must’ve spent her life protecting herself from the pack so is quite wary of other dogs. She will need an understanding home to give her time to realsise that not all dogs impose a threat to her. I’ve had a very sad past life, chained up 24/7 on a hell-hole farm, but I am ready for someone to show me the love which I’ve never had and I’m sure I will be able to return that love a million times over.
