Lola este o fată veselă, afecționată și sensibilă care caută un loc liniștit și înțelept unde se poate așeza cu adevărat și să se simtă în siguranță. Îi place foarte mult să fie aproape de oamenii ei și este în mod natural un câine pentru șolduri. Este, de asemenea, o bucurie adevărată să o iei afară. Lola își place plimbările și explorarea lumii alături de oamenii săi preferați. Lola este antrenată la toaletă și se deplasează în general bine în mașină, deși poate fi destul de zgomotoasă atunci când este emoționată privind unde ar putea merge! Lola poate fi puțin zgomotoasă atunci când este emoționată sau frustrată, așa că noua ei familie va trebui să fie confortabilă cu un câine care își exprimă sentimentele. Lola iubește învățarea și este întotdeauna dispusă să participe la antrenament. Răspunde foarte bine la recompense pozitive (lucrurile dulci sunt foarte ajutătoare!) și credem că ar avea succes în activități precum agililitatea sau alte jocuri de antrenament amuzante cu stăpânul ei. Lola joacă cu jucăriile când îi vine vremea, mai ales jucării mici și moi. Ar fi potrivită pentru o casă activă unde poate face plimbări, stimulare mentală și multă interacțiune. Lola poate fi lăsată singură pentru perioade scurte după ce s-a acomodat, cam 4–5 ore. Lola nu a avut cel mai stabil început în viață, a trăit în mai multe case înainte de a veni la noi, iar uneori se simte nesigură în anumite situații. Ea poate fi sensibilă la atingeri, mai ales în zona gulerului, când se odihnește și când este îngrijită. A fost antrenată într-un mod bazat pe alegere pentru manipulare și, odată ce își construiește încrederea față de oamenii ei, devine mult mai confortabilă și relaxată. Lola este antrenată pentru purtarea mășticii pentru vizitele veterinare, ca măsură suplimentară de siguranță. Lola preferă să aibă propria sa spațiu pentru somn, cu patul său într-un loc liniștit unde nu va fi deranjată. Poate fi puțin protectivă față de lucrurile ei, mai ales blănuri, dar acest lucru este de obicei ușor de gestionat prin respectarea spațiului ei. S-au întâmplat situații în trecut în care Lola s-a simțit neîncrezătoare în situații precum cele descrise mai sus și a răspuns cu o mușcătură slabă, așa că este important ca limitele ei să fie respectate. Lola trage la leagăn și este în prezent în curs de antrenament pentru aceasta. În prezența altor câini, Lola poate fi uneori neliniștită de câinii care se apropie, dar de obicei alege să se îndepărteze în loc să se angajeze. Din cauza sensibilității sale, Lola caută un mediu doar pentru adulți cu stăpâni experimentați și pacienți care înțeleg că construirea încrederii durează timp. Nu poate trăi cu pisici. Lola is a bright, affectionate and sensitive girl who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly settle and feel safe. She absolutely loves being close to her people and is a proper lap dog at heart. She’s also a genuine joy to take out and about. Lola enjoys her walks and exploring the world with her favourite humans. Lola is toilet trained and generally travels well in the car, although she can be quite vocal when she gets excited about where she might be going! Lola can be a bit noisy when she’s excited or frustrated generally, so her new family will need to be comfortable with a dog who likes to express herself. Lola absolutely loves learning and is always keen to engage in training. She responds really well to positive reinforcement (treats are a big help!) and we think she would thrive in activities like agility or other fun training games with her owner. Lola enjoys playing with toys when the mood strikes, particularly small, soft toys. She would suit an active home where she can enjoy walks, mental stimulation and plenty of interaction. Lola can be left for short periods once she has settled in, around 4–5 hours. Lola hasn’t had the most stable start in life, she has had several homes before coming to us, and she can sometimes feel unsure in certain situations. She can be sensitive about being touched, particularly around her collar, when she is resting and when she is being groomed. She has done a lot of training around choice-based handling and once she builds trust with her people, she becomes much more comfortable and relaxed. Lola is muzzle trained for veterinary visits as an extra safety precaution. Lola also prefers to have her own space for sleeping, with her bed in a quiet area where she won’t be disturbed. She can be a little protective of her belongings, especially blankets, but this is usually easy to manage by simply respecting her space. There have been occasions in the past where Lola has felt uncomfortable in situations like those described above and has responded with a low-level warning bite so it is important that her boundaries are respected. Lola does pull on the lead and is currently under going training for this. Around other dogs, Lola can occasionally feel worried by other dogs approaching, but she generally chooses to move away rather than engage. Because of her sensitivities, Lola is looking for an adult-only home with experienced, patient owners who understand that building trust takes time. She cannot live with cats. She may be able to live with a calm, well-matched dog after careful introductions and with appropriate management. For the right home, Lola will be a deeply loyal, loving companion who brings plenty of personality and affection into everyday life.’ Complete an adoption form
