Lola é uma menina brilhante, afetuosa e sensível que está buscando um lar tranquilo e compreensivo onde ela possa se estabelecer verdadeiramente e se sentir segura. Ela adora ficar perto das pessoas e é, no fundo, um cãozinho de colo. Também é uma verdadeira alegria levar para fora. Lola gosta de suas caminhadas e de explorar o mundo com seus humanos favoritos. Lola está treinada para tomar banheiro e geralmente viaja bem no carro, embora possa ser bastante barulhenta quando fica empolgada com para onde pode estar indo! Lola pode fazer algum barulho quando está empolgada ou frustrada, então sua nova família precisa estar confortável com um cachorro que gosta de se expressar. Lola adora aprender e sempre está disposta a participar de treinamentos. Ela responde muito bem ao reforço positivo (comidas são muito úteis!) e achamos que ela iria bem em atividades como agilidade ou outros jogos divertidos de treinamento com seu dono. Lola gosta de brincar com brinquedos quando a vontade bate, especialmente brinquedos pequenos e macios. Ela se adequa a um lar ativo onde ela pode aproveitar caminhadas, estimulação mental e muita interação. Lola pode ficar sozinha por períodos curtos depois que se acostumou, cerca de 4–5 horas. Lola não teve os melhores começos na vida, ela teve vários lares antes de vir para nós e às vezes ela pode se sentir insegura em certas situações. Ela pode ser sensível em relação a ser tocada, especialmente em torno do colar, quando está descansando e durante a tosa. Ela fez muito treinamento em manipulação baseada em escolha e, uma vez que ela constrói confiança com as pessoas, ela se torna muito mais confortável e relaxada. Lola está treinada para usar mordaça para visitas veterinárias como medida extra de segurança. Lola também prefere ter seu próprio espaço para dormir, com seu colchonete em uma área calma onde ela não será perturbada. Ela pode ser um pouco protetora em relação às suas coisas, especialmente cobertores, mas isso geralmente é fácil de gerenciar simplesmente respeitando seu espaço. Houve ocasiões no passado em que Lola se sentiu desconfortável em situações como as acima mencionadas e respondeu com um mordida de aviso de baixo nível, então é importante que os limites dela sejam respeitados. Lola puxa a coleira e está atualmente recebendo treinamento para isso. Perto de outros cães, Lola pode ocasionalmente se sentir preocupada com outros cães se aproximando, mas geralmente escolhe se afastar em vez de se envolver. Lola is a bright, affectionate and sensitive girl who is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly settle and feel safe. She absolutely loves being close to her people and is a proper lap dog at heart. She’s also a genuine joy to take out and about. Lola enjoys her walks and exploring the world with her favourite humans. Lola is toilet trained and generally travels well in the car, although she can be quite vocal when she gets excited about where she might be going! Lola can be a bit noisy when she’s excited or frustrated generally, so her new family will need to be comfortable with a dog who likes to express herself. Lola absolutely loves learning and is always keen to engage in training. She responds really well to positive reinforcement (treats are a big help!) and we think she would thrive in activities like agility or other fun training games with her owner. Lola enjoys playing with toys when the mood strikes, particularly small, soft toys. She would suit an active home where she can enjoy walks, mental stimulation and plenty of interaction. Lola can be left for short periods once she has settled in, around 4–5 hours. Lola hasn’t had the most stable start in life, she has had several homes before coming to us, and she can sometimes feel unsure in certain situations. She can be sensitive about being touched, particularly around her collar, when she is resting and when she is being groomed. She has done a lot of training around choice-based handling and once she builds trust with her people, she becomes much more comfortable and relaxed. Lola is muzzle trained for veterinary visits as an extra safety precaution. Lola also prefers to have her own space for sleeping, with her bed in a quiet area where she won’t be disturbed. She can be a little protective of her belongings, especially blankets, but this is usually easy to manage by simply respecting her space. There have been occasions in the past where Lola has felt uncomfortable in situations like those described above and has responded with a low-level warning bite so it is important that her boundaries are respected. Lola does pull on the lead and is currently under going training for this. Around other dogs, Lola can occasionally feel worried by other dogs approaching, but she generally chooses to move away rather than engage. Because of her sensitivities, Lola is looking for an adult-only home with experienced, patient owners who understand that building trust takes time. She cannot live with cats. She may be able to live with a calm, well-matched dog after careful introductions and with appropriate management. For the right home, Lola will be a deeply loyal, loving companion who brings plenty of personality and affection into everyday life.’ Complete an adoption form
