Mr. Bean este un câine de mărime medie, mix, în vârstă de 3 ani (născut în iulie 2022). A trecut testul pentru pisici. Are nevoie de câine rezident. Copii respectuoși cu vârsta de 12 ani și peste. Mr. Bean a ajuns la adăpostul Botosani împreună cu mama lui și frații lui când era un pui mic. Restul familiei au fost adoptați, dar el nu a fost ales și a rămas să crească în adăpost. Acum este într-o casă de găzduire din Marea Britanie și învață despre viața din afara unei grădini. A fost în casa de găzduire actuală de la iunie și, deși a luat un timp ca să se obișnuiească cu părinții lui de găzduire, acum înțelege că oamenii nu sunt ceva de care să aibă frică și învață să aibă încredere. Este un personaj drăguț și comic în casă, pe care îl considerăm că se simte mai mult ca un pisic decât ca un câine, îi place să se urce pe mobilă și să-și facă loc în spațiile strâmte. Dacă ești pe un scaun pentru o persoană, cel mai probabil va încerca să se încapă alături de tine. Este foarte doritor să placă și va avea nevoie doar să continue să creeze experiență atunci când se mută în casa sa definitivă. Își face bine toate celelalte câini și va beneficia enorm de o companie canină. Nu are niciun fel de probleme cu pisicile, așa că poate trăi și cu acestea. Poate fi timid cu oamenii pe care nu-i cunoaște la început din cauza lipsă de interacțiune umană în anii săi de dezvoltare, dar îmbunătățește acest lucru zilnic și a început să îi ceară de la cei cu care se simte confortabil să-l atingă. Mr. Bean preferă o casă mai liniștită astfel încât să se simtă relaxat și nu în alertă, din acest motiv poate trăi cu copii respectuoși cu vârsta de 12 ani și peste. Chiar și după ce câinele se va adapta, este mai sigur să folosiți curelul în situații în care câinele ar putea deveni speriat (de exemplu, vizite la locuri noi, în prezența oamenilor necunoscuți, la medicul veterinar), și în situații în care ar putea apărea declanșatori imprevizi (de exemplu, în apropierea zilei de focuri de artificii). Câinii anxioși pot avea nevoie mereu să poarte un curelu ca măsură de siguranță suplimentară. Curelul este un dispozitiv de siguranță și NU trebuie niciodată folosit ca instrument de antrenament. Folosirea curelului pentru a aplica presiune asupra gâtului câinelui este dăunătoare. Dacă câinele trage de curel, putem să vă oferim metode de antrenament care evită răni. Mr. Bean is a medium sized crossbreed aged 3 years old (born July 2022). Passed Cat testing. Needs resident dog. Respectful children 12 plus Mr. Bean arrived at the Botosani public with his mum and siblings when he was a tiny pup. The rest of his family all got adopted but he wasn’t chosen and so he was left to grow up in the shelter. He is now in a UK foster home and learning about life outside of a pen. He has been in his current foster home since June and whilst it took him a while to warm up to his foster parents, he now understands that people are not something to be scared of and is learning to trust. He is a cute and comical character in the home who we believe thinks is more cat than dog, he loves to climb on furniture and will squeeze his way into the tight spots. If you’re sitting on a one-person chair, best believe he will try is luck to fit on there with you. He is super keen to please and will simply need to continue gaining experience when he moves in to his forever home. He gets on brilliantly with all other dogs, and having another canine companion to live with will do him wonders. He is unbothered when it comes to cats so is also able to live with them. He can be hand shy with those he does not know at first due to his lack of human interaction in his formative years but he is improving with this daily and has started to ask to be petted by those he is comfortable with. Recently, he has even allowed himself to be stroked by strangers we have met on a walk – proving that he has come a long way from the timid, shut down dog that he once was. He will happily settle in the same room as his fosterers and likes to sleep on their bed, but is also crate-trained and is fine in there too. He loves his walks and walks wonderfully on the lead and stays to heel. Once he gets to know you and you gain his trust, his character shines through. He is a loving boy who wants to both give and receive love once he gets to know you. Mr Bean would prefer a quieter household so he can feel relaxed and not on edge, for that reason he can live with respectful children aged 12 plus. He is a delightful character who deserves all the love in the world now that he’s finally out of the shelter. Mr Bean has passed his cat testing. Mr. Bean fostered Norwich Norfolk . Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer.
