Mr. Bean je středně velký kříženec věku 3 let (narodil se v červenci 2022). Prošel testem pro kočky. Potřebuje bytového psa. Respektující děti od 12 let. Mr. Bean přišel do Botosani veřejného spolku s matkou a sourozenci, když byl ještě malý štěně. Ostatní členové jeho rodiny byli všechny přijati, ale on nebyl vybrán a tak zůstal růst v útulku. Nyní je ve fyzickém domě v Británii a učí se životu mimo ohradu. Byl ve svém aktuálním fyzickém domě od června a i když mu trvalo nějaký čas, aby se zvykl na své fyzické rodiče, teď už ví, že lidé nejsou něco, co se má bát, a učí se důvěřovat. Je to milý a komický postava ve svém domě, který si myslí, že je spíše kočka než pes, rád se šplhá na nábytek a dokáže se dostat do úzkých míst. Pokud sedíte na jednoměstkovém křesle, nejlépe vězte, že se pokusí zkusit se tam vejít s vámi. Je super ochotný uspokojit a potřebuje prostě pokračovat v získávání zkušeností, když se přesune do svého trvalého domova. Dobře se shodne se všemi dalšími psy a má-li dalšího koníčka k životu, bude mu to prospět. Nezajímá se o kočky, takže může žít s nimi. Může být trochu zdrženlivý s lidmi, které nezná, kvůli nedostatku interakce s lidmi v raném věku, ale postupně se to zlepšuje a začal požádat o hladění těmi, kteří mu jsou blízcí. Nedávno dokonce dovolil, aby ho chtěli pohladit cizí lidi, které jsme setkali na procházce – což dokazuje, že se výrazně vyvíjí od nejistého a zavřeného psa, jakým byl kdysi. Rád se usadí ve stejném pokoji jako jeho fyzické rodiče a rád spí na jejich posteli, ale je také trénovaný na boxy a v nich je v pořádku. Rád chodí na procházky a chodí skvěle na řetězu a drží se vedle. Jakmile se poznáte a získáte jeho důvěru, jeho charakter se projeví. Je milý kluk, který chce dát i přijmout lásku, jakmile se poznáte. Mr. Bean by raději žil v klidnějším domě, aby se cítil uvolněně a nebyl nervózní, a proto může žít s respektujícími dětmi od 12 let. Je příjemný typ, který si zaslouží celý svět lásky, nyní, když konečně opustil útulek. Mr. Bean prošel testem pro kočky. Mr. Bean byl fostrovaný Norwich Norfolk. Podmínky adopce Když adopujete psa od Safe Rescue, musíte použít ocelový řetěz. To vás ochrání: váš nový pes bude nervózní a nebude vám důvěřovat, a nebudete vědět, které situace vašeho psa mohou rozrušit. Pokud pes zpanikaří, pak je jediný způsob, jak zabránit jeho útěku, je ocelový řetěz (mnoho psů může uniknout z kravice a/nebo obložení). Bude trvat NAJMENŠÍ 3–6 měsíců, než se pes upokojí a vy se ho plně naučíte (déle pro nervózní psy). Ocelový řetěz musí být VŽDY používán během tohoto období upokojení. I poté, co pes upokojí, je nejbezpečnější použít ocelový řetěz v situacích, kde může pes být vyděšený (např. návštěva nových míst, kolem neznámých lidí, u veterináře), nebo v situacích, kde mohou nastat neočekávané stimuli (např. kolem ohňostrojových nocí). Nervózní psi mohou vždy nosit ocelový řetěz jako záložní bezpečnostní opatření. Ocelový řetěz je bezpečnostní pomůcka a nikdy nesmí být použit jako nástroj tréninku. Použití řetězu k aplikaci tlaku na krk psa je škodlivé. Pokud pes táhne řetězem, můžeme vám poradit s tréninkovými metodami, které nezpůsobí škodu. Jakmile se pes upokojí, můžete zvážit použití obložení (spolu s ocelovým řetězem), pokud pes je komfortní s dotykem při nasazení. Většina obložení není odolná proti útěku, ale obložení s páskem za žeber (např. Ruffwear Webmaster nebo Perfect Fit obložení) jsou bezpečnější. Nestranné / prodlužovací řetězy nesmí být použity na naše psy. Adopce psů musí být vybrány ze záchranného ústavu a převezeny přímo domů v bezpečném kovovém krabici. Mr. Bean is a medium sized crossbreed aged 3 years old (born July 2022). Passed Cat testing. Needs resident dog. Respectful children 12 plus Mr. Bean arrived at the Botosani public with his mum and siblings when he was a tiny pup. The rest of his family all got adopted but he wasn’t chosen and so he was left to grow up in the shelter. He is now in a UK foster home and learning about life outside of a pen. He has been in his current foster home since June and whilst it took him a while to warm up to his foster parents, he now understands that people are not something to be scared of and is learning to trust. He is a cute and comical character in the home who we believe thinks is more cat than dog, he loves to climb on furniture and will squeeze his way into the tight spots. If you’re sitting on a one-person chair, best believe he will try is luck to fit on there with you. He is super keen to please and will simply need to continue gaining experience when he moves in to his forever home. He gets on brilliantly with all other dogs, and having another canine companion to live with will do him wonders. He is unbothered when it comes to cats so is also able to live with them. He can be hand shy with those he does not know at first due to his lack of human interaction in his formative years but he is improving with this daily and has started to ask to be petted by those he is comfortable with. Recently, he has even allowed himself to be stroked by strangers we have met on a walk – proving that he has come a long way from the timid, shut down dog that he once was. He will happily settle in the same room as his fosterers and likes to sleep on their bed, but is also crate-trained and is fine in there too. He loves his walks and walks wonderfully on the lead and stays to heel. Once he gets to know you and you gain his trust, his character shines through. He is a loving boy who wants to both give and receive love once he gets to know you. Mr Bean would prefer a quieter household so he can feel relaxed and not on edge, for that reason he can live with respectful children aged 12 plus. Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
