Ruby are 10 luni vârsta. Nu a fost testată cu pisici. Poate trăi cu sau fără alte câini. Copii de 7 ani și mai mari. Ruby este o femele Maltese x Yorkie de 10 luni care a ajuns în îngrijirea noastră după ce a fost transferată între patru case anterioare! La sosirea în îngrijirea noastră, găzduitorul a realizat că avea un problemă cu urinarea - după investigație am descoperit că are o boală renală congenitală. Bebește excesiv și urină frecvent - când a venit prima dată nu era antrenată la baie, dar acum, cu excepția unor accidente ocazionale, va merge afară dacă este încurajată, dar va avea nevoie ca cineva să fie acasă o parte bună din zi. Ruby primește mâncare secă pentru rinichi pentru a-i ajuta cu boala. Ruby este o fată frumoasă și veselă care își place să joace cu jucăriile și cu alți câini – este foarte afecționată și doarme sus cu găzduitorul ei fără accidente. Ruby nu a fost socializată în afara casei și poate măcia alte câini, dar nu agresiv, ci pentru că vrea să le cunoască – acest lucru este în curs de dezvoltare și necesită un angajament suplimentar din partea adoptantului. Nu știm prognosticul pe termen lung pentru Ruby – ni s-a spus că această boală îi va scurta viața și vrem ca următoarele ei ani să fie cei mai buni posibili. Ruby este găzduită în Hingham Norfolk. Dacă sunteți interesat, vă rog trimiteți un mesaj sau apelați între orele 9:00 și 17:00 de luni până vineri sau între 9:00 și 16:00 sâmbătă. Taxa de adoptare este: Pui deja sterilizați și toți câinii adulți: £430. Pui neprocedurați chirurgical pentru sterilizare: £530 (veți primi un ramburs de £100 odată ce ne trimiteți dovada sterilizării). Acesta va ține câinele tău în siguranță: noua ta ființă va fi nervoasă și nu-ți va încredința, iar tu nu vei ști ce situații ar putea provoca neliniștea câinelui tău. Dacă câinele tău se paniquează, atunci un lanț simplu este singura modalitate de a evita ca el să scape (multe câini pot să scape dintr-un colier și/sau harnak). Va dura cel puțin 3-6 luni până când câinele se va adapta și vei cunoaște complet câinele (mai mult timp pentru câinii timizi). Lanțul simplu trebuie întotdeauna folosit în perioada de adaptare. Chiar după ce câinele s-a adaptat, este mai sigur să folosești lanțul simplu în situații în care câinele poate deveni speriat (de exemplu, vizite la locuri noi, în prezența oamenilor necunoscuți, la medic), și în situații unde pot apărea declanșatori neașteptați (de exemplu, în apropierea zilei de focuri de artificii). Câinii timizi pot purta mereu un lanț simplu ca măsură de siguranță suplimentară. Lanțul simplu este un dispozitiv de siguranță și nu trebuie niciodată folosit ca instrument de învățare. When arriving in our care the fosterer realised she had a urine problem – after investigation We found She has congenital kidney disease. She drinks excessively and urinates frequently – when she first came she was not house trained but now apart from the odd accident she will go outside if prompted but she will need someone home a good part of the day . Ruby is on renal dry food to help her illness . Ruby is a lovely happy little girl who loves to play with toys and other dogs – she is very cuddly and sleeps upstairs with her fosterer with no accidents . Ruby has not been socialised out of the home and can bark at other dogs not aggressively but because she wants to meet them – this is a work in progress and needs further commitment of the adopter. We do not know the long term for Ruby – we have been told that this disease will shorten her life and we want her next few years to be the best ever for her. Ruby is fostered in Hingham Norfolk. Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
