Ρούμπι είναι 10 μηνών. Δεν έχει δοκιμαστεί με γάτες. Μπορεί να ζήσει με ή χωρίς άλλα σκυλιά. Παιδιά 7 και πάνω. Ρούμπι είναι μια 10 μηνών αρσενική Maltese x Yorkie που έρχεται στη φροντίδα μας μετά το γεγονός ότι έμεινε σε τέσσερα προηγούμενα σπίτια! Όταν έφτασε στη φροντίδα μας, ο φροντιστής κατάλαβε ότι είχε πρόβλημα ούρου - με έρευνα βρήκαμε ότι έχει γεννητική νεφρική ασθένεια. Πίνει πολύ και ούρει συχνά - όταν ήρθε αρχικά δεν ήταν στο σπίτι, αλλά τώρα εκτός από μια ή δύο ατυχήματα θα πάει έξω όταν της το ζητήσουν, αλλά θα χρειαστεί κάποιος στο σπίτι για μεγάλο μέρος της ημέρας. Η Ρούμπι τρώει τροφή για νεφρικά προβλήματα για να τη βοηθήσει στην ασθένειά της. Η Ρούμπι είναι ένας όμορφος ευτυχισμένος μικρός κοριτσάκι ο οποίος αγαπά τα παιχνίδια και τα άλλα σκυλιά - είναι πολύ αγαπητή και κοιμάται πάνω στον καταπατημένο χώρο με τον φροντιστή της χωρίς κανένα ατύχημα. Η Ρούμπι δεν έχει εξοικειωθεί έξω από το σπίτι και μπορεί να κάνει θόρυβο με άλλα σκυλιά, χωρίς να είναι επιθετική, αλλά επειδή θέλει να τα γνωρίσει - αυτό είναι έργο σε εξέλιξη και χρειάζεται περαιτέρω δέσμευση του εισαγωγέα. Δεν γνωρίζουμε το μακροπρόθεσμο για τη Ρούμπι - της είπαν ότι αυτή η ασθένεια θα μειώσει τη ζωή της και θέλουμε τις επόμενες χρονιές της να είναι αυτό που μπορεί να είναι καλύτερο. Η Ρούμπι φροντίζεται στο Hingham Norfolk. Αν ενδιαφέρεστε παρακαλώ στείλτε μήνυμα ή καλέστε από 9 π.μ. έως 5 μ.μ. Δευτέρα-Παρασκευή ή από 9 π.μ. έως 4 μ.μ. Σάββατο. Τα έξοδα υιοθέτησης για τα μικρά ζώα που έχουν ήδη θεραπευθεί και όλα τα ενήλικα σκυλιά: 430 λίρες. Μη θεραπευμένα μικρά ζώα σε συμφωνίες αποκοπής/θεραπείας: 530 λίρες (Θα λάβετε μια επιστροφή 100 λίρων όταν στείλετε μας την απόδειξη της θεραπείας). Ενήλικα σκυλιά (10+ χρόνια): 150-250 λίρες (ανάλογα με την ηλικία και τις ιδιαίτερες ανάγκες). Οι Όροι και Προϋποθέσεις Υιοθέτησης Όταν υιοθετήσετε ένα σκυλί από την Safe Rescue, ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα ζωνάριο. Αυτό θα κρατήσει το σκυλί σας ασφαλές: το νέο σας σκυλί θα είναι έγκλειστο και δεν θα εμπιστευτεί τον εαυτό σας, και δεν θα γνωρίζετε ποιες καταστάσεις θα το τρομοκρατήσουν. Αν το σκυλί σας ενοχληθεί, τότε το ζωνάριο είναι το μόνο τρόπος για να αποτρέψετε το σκυλί από την διαφυγή (πολλά σκυλιά μπορούν να διαφύγουν από ένα στήθος και/ή ένα ζώνιο). Θα χρειαστούν ΤΟΥΛΑΧΙΣΤΟΝ 3-6 μήνες για το σκυλί να εξοικειωθεί και για να γνωρίσετε το σκυλί σας πλήρως (μεγαλύτερο για τα άγρια σκυ

When arriving in our care the fosterer realised she had a urine problem – after investigation We found She has congenital kidney disease. She drinks excessively and urinates frequently – when she first came she was not house trained but now apart from the odd accident she will go outside if prompted but she will need someone home a good part of the day . Ruby is on renal dry food to help her illness . Ruby is a lovely happy little girl who loves to play with toys and other dogs – she is very cuddly and sleeps upstairs with her fosterer with no accidents . Ruby has not been socialised out of the home and can bark at other dogs not aggressively but because she wants to meet them – this is a work in progress and needs further commitment of the adopter. We do not know the long term for Ruby – we have been told that this disease will shorten her life and we want her next few years to be the best ever for her. Ruby is fostered in Hingham Norfolk. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
