Vi fick ta med denna fantastiska, cirka treårige mixhund till vår djurhjältsstation i Calvià i mitten av december – tillsammans med sin hundvän Bailey (som dock redan fick flytta in till ett nytt hem här på ön). Tyvärr har Bruce inte haft så mycket tur i sitt liv hittills. Förstås har Bruce utvecklats vidare hos oss. Vi känner honom nu som en otroligt bra, intresserad av allt, öppen och öppenvänt hund, som värderar människokontakt över allt annat – och som verkligen bara är vänlig till alla. Med de flesta hundar är han ganska kompatibel och riktigt vänlig. Katter får absolut inte vara nära honom – och du behöver inte ens kontrollera det; det är helt säkert. Dessutom har några gener av bergsgete funnits i vår Bruce – för hans klätterförmåga är tyvärr mycket imponerande och inte att undervärdera. Självklart har Bruce också mycket energi och han vill och bör leva upp till det. Så vi söker personer till Bruce som verkligen har tillräckligt med tid för honom och själva har stor vilja till aktivitet och rörelse. Om möjligt – och vi säger det verkligen sällan när det gäller större hundar😉 – ska de bo i lägenhet (vilket naturligtvis ska erbjuda tillräcklig storlek). Då skulle vi definitivt veta att Bruce är i säkra händer🙂. Tyvärr har Bruce ännu inte fått en riktig chans att leva ett normalt hundliv – och det berodde återigen på "människor" och INTE på honom. Ett är säkert – med rätt människor vid sin sida kommer han att bli en superbra kamrat och bästa vän för livet ❤️

We were able to bring this great, approximately three-year-old mongrel male from the Perrera to our animal shelter in Calvià in mid-December – together with his dog buddy Bailey (who, however, was already allowed to move into a new home here on the island). Unfortunately, Bruce hasn’t had much luck in his life so far. Of course, Bruce has already developed further with us. We know him here now as an incredibly great, interested in everything, open and open-minded dog, who values human contact above all else – and who is really just friendly to everyone. With most dogs he is quite compatible and really friendly. Cats are definitely not allowed to be near him – and you clearly don’t need to check this; it’s absolutely certain. Furthermore, a few genes of a mountain goat could be found in our Bruce – because his climbing talent is unfortunately very remarkable and not to be underestimated. Of course, Bruce also has a lot of energy and he would like to and should live up to it. So we are looking for people for Bruce who really have enough time for him and who themselves have a lot of desire for activity and movement. If possible – and we actually say that very rarely with regard to larger dogs😉 – they should live in an apartment (which of course should offer a sufficient size). Then we would definitely know our Bruce in safe hands🙂. Unfortunately, Bruce has so far not had a real opportunity to lead a normal dog life – and that was again due to “people” and NOT to him. One thing is certain – with the right people by his side, he will be a super great companion and best friend for life ❤️
