We were able to bring this great, approximately three-year-old mongrel male from the Perrera to our animal shelter in Calvià in mid-December – together with his dog buddy Bailey (who, however, was already allowed to move into a new home here on the island). Unfortunately, Bruce hasn’t had much luck in his life so far. Of course, Bruce has already developed further with us. We know him here now as an incredibly great, interested in everything, open and open-minded dog, who values human contact above all else – and who is really just friendly to everyone. With most dogs he is quite compatible and really friendly. Cats are definitely not allowed to be near him – and you clearly don’t need to check this; it’s absolutely certain. Furthermore, a few genes of a mountain goat could be found in our Bruce – because his climbing talent is unfortunately very remarkable and not to be underestimated. Of course, Bruce also has a lot of energy and he would like to and should live up to it. So we are looking for people for Bruce who really have enough time for him and who themselves have a lot of desire for activity and movement. If possible – and we actually say that very rarely with regard to larger dogs😉 – they should live in an apartment (which of course should offer a sufficient size). Then we would definitely know our Bruce in safe hands🙂. Unfortunately, Bruce has so far not had a real opportunity to lead a normal dog life – and that was again due to “people” and NOT to him. One thing is certain – with the right people by his side, he will be a super great companion and best friend for life ❤️
