Uppdatering 29.08.2025: Här är en ny bild på Charlie (här med Soraya): Uppdatering 24.08.2023: Charlie har varit hos oss i ganska lång tid. Han är en smart hund. Charlie är verkligen unik – hans karaktär är så speciell att det nästan är omöjligt att beskriva och det gör honom till något särskilt. Han flög till Aten två gånger eftersom han hade en svulst i ögat som inte skulle läka. Sedan dess har han varit i fostervård av en av personalen. Ingen bildtext Ingen bildtext Lyckligtvis var behandlingen framgångsrik och svulsten har nu läkt. Han har dock ett problem med torra ögon som kräver kontinuerlig behandling men det finns en möjlighet att behandlingen kan minska över tid. Charlie är cirka 6 år gammal (kanske äldre), mäter ca 45 cm och väger 15 kg. Charlie är en lugn och självsäker hund – du kan ta med honom var du än går. Han älskar bilresor och kan sova överallt, oavsett om det är ett tyst rum eller ett mycket folkligt flygplatsrum. Han är toaletttränad och njuter av frid och ro i sitt fosterhem. Han älskar också uppmärksamhet och kramar. Charlie är inte bara ljudligt perfekt – han är det! Han väntar på rätta personen att komma. Hans historia: Charlie skriver: Charlie är en helt missförstådd hund. Även jag hade fel uppfattning om honom från början. Se, Charlie verkade som ett barn med OCD. När han satte något i sin tanke fokuserade han bara på det, tänkte jag. Men det är inte fallet. Se, Charlie är inte OCD. Han är faktiskt mottaglig för dig även när du tror att han är försjunken i sina tankar. Charlie är känslig och smart. Charlie har en humoristisk sida. Han ger också fantastiskt vackra blickar. Han är så behaglig. Charlie har alltid en dukbjörn i sängen. Han är en av mina favoriter. Charlie kom till oss med Erlichia, en spökburen infektion. Vi har behandlat den intensivt i mer än ett år. Vi kommer snart att göra hans senaste tester, han är mest sannolikt kurad men när vi får resultaten kommer vi att uppdatera denna inlägg. Charlie klarskriver med de flesta, han spelar i en grupp på över trettiotjugu djur. Charlie har en reaktion på smärta (han har säkert blivit fysiskt misshandlad) så jag skulle rekommendera att denna liten man ska få en hem utan barn. Betrakta min "mjukunge med ett hårt skal" Charlie. Han kommer att värma den djupaste delen av ditt hjärta. Versäkra. Hans historia: Charlie är verkligen coolt! Han följde hem en av våra fosters när hon gick med sina hundar och han bestämde sig för att stanna. Hon tog hand om honom en stund, men kunde inte hålla honom eftersom hon redan hade för många djur att ta hand om. Charlie är en mycket fin och känslig själ. Han är mycket vänlig mot människor och god med andra hunder. Från vad vi kan se på äldre har han vissa jagdriv och därför kanske inte passar för hem med katter.

Update 29.08.2025: Here is a new photo of Charlie (here with Soraya): Update 24.08.2023: Charlie has been with us for quite a while. He is a smart dog. Charlie is truly one of a kind- his character is so unique, it’s almost impossible to put into words and it sets him apart from anyone else. He flew over to Athens twice because he had an ulcer on his eye that wouldn’t heal. Since then he has been in foster care by one of the staff. No Caption No Caption Thankfully the treatment was successful and the ulcer has now healed. He does have a problem with dry eyes that requires ongoing treatment but there is the chance that the treatment can be tapered down over time. Charlie is around 6 years old (possibly older), stands about 45cm tall and weighs 15kg. Charlie is an easygoing and confident dog — you can take him along no matter where you go. He loves car rides and he can sleep literally anywhere, whether it's a busy airport or a restaurant. He’s house trained and enjoys the peace and quiet of his foster home. He also loves attention and cuddles. Charlie doesn’t just sound like the perfect dog- he is! He’s waiting for the right person to come along His story: Charlie Elizabeth writes: Charlie is a completely misunderstood pooch. Even I had the wrong impression of him in the beginning. You see, Charlie seemed like a kid with OCD. When he put something in his mind, he only would focus on that, I thought. But this is not the case. You see, Charlie is not OCD. He is actually receptive to you even when you think that he is engulfed in his thoughts. Charlie is sensitive and smart. Charlie has a humorous side. He also gives super cutey looks. He’s so adorable. Charlie always has a teddy bear in his bed. He is one of my favorites. Charlie came to us with Erlichia, a tick born infection. We have been treating it vigorously for over a year. We are having his latest tests very soon, he is most probably cured but once we have the results we will update this post. Charlie gets along with most everyone, he plays in a group of over thirty animals. Charlie does have a trigger to pain (he was most probably physically abused) so I would suggest this little man go to a home without children. Consider my “softy with a hard shell” Charlie. He will warm the deepest part of your soul. Promise. His story: Charlie is really cool! He followed home one of our fosters when she was walking her dogs and he decided to stay. She took care of him for a while, but couldn't keep him because she already had too many animals to look after. Charlie is a very sweet and sensitive soul. He's very friendly with humans and good with other dogs. From what we can see at the shelter he has some prey drive and therefore may not be suitable for homes with cats.
