Aggiornamento 29.08.2025: Ecco una nuova foto di Charlie (qui con Soraya): Aggiornamento 24.08.2023: Charlie è con noi da un po'. È un cane intelligente. Charlie è veramente unico, il suo carattere è così particolare che è quasi impossibile da descrivere e lo distingue dagli altri. È volato ad Atene due volte perché aveva una ulcera all'occhio che non voleva guarire. Da allora è in cura presso uno dei volontari. Nessuna didascalia Nessuna didascalia Per fortuna il trattamento è stato efficace e l'ulcera è ora guarita. Ha comunque un problema agli occhi secchi che richiede un trattamento continuo ma c'è la possibilità che il trattamento possa essere ridotto nel tempo. Charlie ha circa 6 anni (forse più), misura circa 45 cm e pesa 15 kg. Charlie è un cane facile e sicuro — puoi portarlo ovunque tu vada. Adora i viaggi in auto e può dormire letteralmente ovunque, sia in un aeroporto affollato che in un ristorante. È abituato a stare in casa e apprezza la pace e la tranquillità della sua casa di accoglienza. Ama anche le attenzioni e le coccole. Charlie non sembra solo il cane perfetto, è davvero perfetto! Sta aspettando la persona giusta per arrivare. La sua storia: Charlie Elizabeth scrive: Charlie è un cane completamente malinteso. Anche io avevo una cattiva impressione di lui all'inizio. Vedete, Charlie sembrava un bambino con il disturbo ossessivo compulsivo. Quando aveva qualcosa in mente, si concentrava solo su quello, pensavo. Ma non è così. Vedete, Charlie non ha il disturbo ossessivo compulsivo. In realtà è sensibile a voi anche quando credete che sia immerso nei suoi pensieri. Charlie è sensibile e intelligente. Ha un lato umoristico. Dà anche sguardi molto carini. È molto adorabile. Charlie ha sempre un orsacchiotto nel suo letto. È uno dei miei preferiti. Charlie è arrivato da noi con l'Erlichia, un'infezione trasmessa dalle zecche. Lo stiamo trattando vigorosamente da più di un anno. Sui prossimi test avremo presto i risultati, è probabilmente curato ma appena avremo i risultati aggiorniamo questo post. Charlie si intende con quasi tutti, gioca in un gruppo di oltre trenta animali. Charlie ha un trigger al dolore (è probabile che sia stato fisicamente maltrattato) quindi consiglierei a questo piccolo uomo di andare in una casa senza bambini. Considerate il mio "tenerone con guscio duro" Charlie. Riscalderà la parte più profonda del vostro cuore. Prometto. La sua storia: Charlie è veramente figo! È seguito a casa una delle nostre ragazze di accoglienza mentre andava a passeggiare con i suoi cani e ha deciso di rimanere. L'ha curato per un po', ma non poteva tenerlo perché aveva già troppi animali da prendersi cura. Charlie è un'anima dolce e sensibile. È molto amichevole con le persone e buono con gli altri cani. Dal nostro punto di vista al rifugio ha un certo istinto predatore e quindi potrebbe non essere adatto per le case con i gatti.

Update 29.08.2025: Here is a new photo of Charlie (here with Soraya): Update 24.08.2023: Charlie has been with us for quite a while. He is a smart dog. Charlie is truly one of a kind- his character is so unique, it’s almost impossible to put into words and it sets him apart from anyone else. He flew over to Athens twice because he had an ulcer on his eye that wouldn’t heal. Since then he has been in foster care by one of the staff. No Caption No Caption Thankfully the treatment was successful and the ulcer has now healed. He does have a problem with dry eyes that requires ongoing treatment but there is the chance that the treatment can be tapered down over time. Charlie is around 6 years old (possibly older), stands about 45cm tall and weighs 15kg. Charlie is an easygoing and confident dog — you can take him along no matter where you go. He loves car rides and he can sleep literally anywhere, whether it's a busy airport or a restaurant. He’s house trained and enjoys the peace and quiet of his foster home. He also loves attention and cuddles. Charlie doesn’t just sound like the perfect dog- he is! He’s waiting for the right person to come along His story: Charlie Elizabeth writes: Charlie is a completely misunderstood pooch. Even I had the wrong impression of him in the beginning. You see, Charlie seemed like a kid with OCD. When he put something in his mind, he only would focus on that, I thought. But this is not the case. You see, Charlie is not OCD. He is actually receptive to you even when you think that he is engulfed in his thoughts. Charlie is sensitive and smart. Charlie has a humorous side. He also gives super cutey looks. He’s so adorable. Charlie always has a teddy bear in his bed. He is one of my favorites. Charlie came to us with Erlichia, a tick born infection. We have been treating it vigorously for over a year. We are having his latest tests very soon, he is most probably cured but once we have the results we will update this post. Charlie gets along with most everyone, he plays in a group of over thirty animals. Charlie does have a trigger to pain (he was most probably physically abused) so I would suggest this little man go to a home without children. Consider my “softy with a hard shell” Charlie. He will warm the deepest part of your soul. Promise. His story: Charlie is really cool! He followed home one of our fosters when she was walking her dogs and he decided to stay. She took care of him for a while, but couldn't keep him because she already had too many animals to look after. Charlie is a very sweet and sensitive soul. He's very friendly with humans and good with other dogs. From what we can see at the shelter he has some prey drive and therefore may not be suitable for homes with cats.
