Charlie es verdaderamente único, su carácter es tan peculiar que casi es imposible describirlo y lo hace diferente a cualquier otro. Vino volando a Atenas dos veces porque tenía una úlcera en el ojo que no se curaba. Desde entonces ha estado en cuidado temporal con uno de los empleados. Sin título Sin título Afortunadamente el tratamiento fue exitoso y la úlcera ahora se ha curado. Tiene un problema con ojos secos que requiere tratamiento continuo, pero hay posibilidad de que el tratamiento se reduzca con el tiempo. Charlie tiene alrededor de 6 años (posiblemente más), mide unos 45 cm de altura y pesa 15 kg. Charlie es un perro tranquilo y seguro, puedes llevarlo a donde quieras. Le encantan las salidas en coche y puede dormir literalmente en cualquier lugar, ya sea un aeropuerto ocupado o un restaurante. Está entrenado para hacer sus necesidades y disfruta la calma y tranquilidad de su hogar de acogida. También le encanta la atención y los abrazos. Charlie no solo suena como el perro perfecto, ¡es el perro perfecto! Está esperando a la persona adecuada que venga. Su historia: Charlie Elizabeth escribe: Charlie es un perrito completamente mal comprendido. Incluso yo tenía una mala impresión de él al principio. Verás, Charlie parecía un niño con TOC. Cuando se le metía algo en la cabeza, solo se enfocaba en eso, pensé. Pero no es así. Verás, Charlie no tiene TOC. De hecho, es receptivo a ti incluso cuando crees que está envuelto en sus pensamientos. Charlie es sensible y inteligente. Charlie tiene un lado divertido. También le da miradas muy tiernas. Es tan adorable. Charlie siempre tiene un osito de peluche en su cama. Es uno de mis favoritos. Charlie llegó a nosotros con Erlichia, una infección transmitida por garrapatas. Lo hemos estado tratando vigorosamente durante más de un año. Próximamente haremos sus últimos análisis, probablemente esté curado, pero una vez tengamos los resultados actualizaremos esta publicación. Charlie se lleva bien con casi todos, juega en un grupo de más de treinta animales. Charlie tiene un desencadenante para el dolor (probablemente haya sido abusado físicamente), así que sugeriría que este pequeño vaya a un hogar sin niños. Considera a mi "suave pero con una cáscara dura" Charlie. Calentará la parte más profunda de tu alma. Prometo. Su historia: Charlie es realmente genial. Siguió a casa a uno de nuestros cuidadores cuando ella estaba caminando con sus perros y decidió quedarse. Ella lo cuidó por un tiempo, pero no pudo conservarlo porque ya tenía demasiados animales que atender. Charlie es un alma muy dulce y sensible. Es muy amigable con las personas y buena con otros perros. Según lo que podemos ver en el refugio tiene cierto instinto de presa y por lo tanto podría no ser adecuado para hogares con gatos.

Update 29.08.2025: Here is a new photo of Charlie (here with Soraya): Update 24.08.2023: Charlie has been with us for quite a while. He is a smart dog. Charlie is truly one of a kind- his character is so unique, it’s almost impossible to put into words and it sets him apart from anyone else. He flew over to Athens twice because he had an ulcer on his eye that wouldn’t heal. Since then he has been in foster care by one of the staff. No Caption No Caption Thankfully the treatment was successful and the ulcer has now healed. He does have a problem with dry eyes that requires ongoing treatment but there is the chance that the treatment can be tapered down over time. Charlie is around 6 years old (possibly older), stands about 45cm tall and weighs 15kg. Charlie is an easygoing and confident dog — you can take him along no matter where you go. He loves car rides and he can sleep literally anywhere, whether it's a busy airport or a restaurant. He’s house trained and enjoys the peace and quiet of his foster home. He also loves attention and cuddles. Charlie doesn’t just sound like the perfect dog- he is! He’s waiting for the right person to come along His story: Charlie Elizabeth writes: Charlie is a completely misunderstood pooch. Even I had the wrong impression of him in the beginning. You see, Charlie seemed like a kid with OCD. When he put something in his mind, he only would focus on that, I thought. But this is not the case. You see, Charlie is not OCD. He is actually receptive to you even when you think that he is engulfed in his thoughts. Charlie is sensitive and smart. Charlie has a humorous side. He also gives super cutey looks. He’s so adorable. Charlie always has a teddy bear in his bed. He is one of my favorites. Charlie came to us with Erlichia, a tick born infection. We have been treating it vigorously for over a year. We are having his latest tests very soon, he is most probably cured but once we have the results we will update this post. Charlie gets along with most everyone, he plays in a group of over thirty animals. Charlie does have a trigger to pain (he was most probably physically abused) so I would suggest this little man go to a home without children. Consider my “softy with a hard shell” Charlie. He will warm the deepest part of your soul. Promise. His story: Charlie is really cool! He followed home one of our fosters when she was walking her dogs and he decided to stay. She took care of him for a while, but couldn't keep him because she already had too many animals to look after. Charlie is a very sweet and sensitive soul. He's very friendly with humans and good with other dogs. From what we can see at the shelter he has some prey drive and therefore may not be suitable for homes with cats.
