Vi fick kännedom om ett par hundar som levde under fruktansvärda förhållanden – deras ägare gick bort och hustrun var inte längre i stånd till eller villig att ta hand om hundarna. De har bott i en utomhusbur hela sina liv och har aldrig fått den vänlighet och omsorg de förtjänade. Pepsi bodde tillsammans med collien och de kom inte överens – hon är 7 år gammal och verkar överlag vara frisk – hon behöver steriliseras, genomgå en fullständig hälsokontroll och hennes päls är i dåligt skick – men vi kommer att få henne till ett lyckligare tillstånd och redo att njuta av sitt eget hem. Hon går fint i koppel, men hon kan vara selektiv med andra hundar – och vi skulle endast omplacera henne som enda hund. Hon ignorerar hundar på promenader – men hon har bråkat med sin boskamrat – så vi väljer hellre att vara försiktiga. Hon älskar människor – hon är en typisk Patterdale – hon är studsig och energisk – och tolererar inga små pälsbärande djur – så inga katter eller något annat!

We were made aware of a pair of dogs living in terrible conditions – their owner passed and the wife was no longer able or willing to care for these dogs. They have lived in a kennel outdoors their whole lives and have never had the kindness and care they deserved. Pepsi lived with the collie and they did not get on – she is 7 years old and overall seems to be healthy – she needs to spayed, given a full health check and her coat is in poor condition – but we will get her to a happier place and ready to enjoy her own home. She walks well on lead, she can be selective with other dogs – and we would only rehome as an only dog. She ignores dogs on walks- but she has argued with her kennel mate – so we prefer to err on the side of caution She loves people – she is a typical Patterdale – she is bouncy and energetic – and will not tolerate any small furry creature- so no cats or anything else!
