We were made aware of a pair of dogs living in terrible conditions – their owner passed and the wife was no longer able or willing to care for these dogs. They have lived in a kennel outdoors their whole lives and have never had the kindness and care they deserved. Pepsi lived with the collie and they did not get on – she is 7 years old and overall seems to be healthy – she needs to spayed, given a full health check and her coat is in poor condition – but we will get her to a happier place and ready to enjoy her own home. She walks well on lead, she can be selective with other dogs – and we would only rehome as an only dog. She ignores dogs on walks- but she has argued with her kennel mate – so we prefer to err on the side of caution She loves people – she is a typical Patterdale – she is bouncy and energetic – and will not tolerate any small furry creature- so no cats or anything else!
